The large migratory herds of zebras and wildebeests are located at Lake Ndutu, which is part of the Serengeti eco-system's Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Our primary target period for this 5-day safari is December through April. Since they are dispersed throughout the short-grass plains and predators are constantly on the lookout for prey, January is the ideal time of year to see the calving. You will see the Ngorongoro Crater, the South Serengeti, and Tarangire.
