The Lemosho route is a popular and classic trail offering stunning views, excellent acclimatization, and high summit success rates. Starting on Kilimanjaro's western slope, it offers 6, 7, or 8-day itineraries. Highlights include the Cathedral Peak (3872m), an acclimatization hike, and unique Dendrosenecio kilimanjari plants. The 7-day itinerary, starting at 3414m, provides optimal acclimatization with shorter hikes in the initial days. Lemosho is ideal for both beginners and seasoned trekkers.
