The combination of this two most scenic routes to the peak of Mount Kenya, the Sirimon and Chogoria, offers a unique experience. The trek has a great variety of scenery and becomes through this a spectacular route. The Sirimon route comes from the west side of the mountain and passes through the dry side of the mountain. Giant lobelia trees and a rocky terrain awaits you here before you descend onto the Chogoria path. The final night involves camping by the shore of the most famous Lake Ellis.
