Located about 23KM off Entebbe in Lake Victoria, Ngamba Island is a haven to the homeless rescued chimpanzees. The island is inhabited by several bird species, a variety of reptiles and mammal species that may be spotted while in the Island. A visit to Ngamba gives guests a close-up experience with the chimpanzees during the feeding times, giving guests an overview of the general behavior of man’s closest relative, the chimpanzees.
