The 6-day Marangu Route climb—often referred to as the “Coca-Cola” route—is the classic trek on Mount Kilimanjaro. As the oldest and most established route, it is a popular choice among climbers. The Marangu route is considered the easiest path up the mountain due to its gradual incline. Additionally, it is the only route that offers dormitory-style accommodation in sleeping huts.
