The Marangu Route, also known as the "Coca-Cola Route," is the easiest, shortest, and most popular route to Uhuru Peak, with 70% of climbers choosing it. While it's easier for hiking, the summit is challenging, and its failure rate is high due to poor preparation. The route has camps selling snacks and drinks, with radio contact to the Park Office. The Horombo hut offers beds for acclimatization. It can be completed in five days.
