Wenchi Crater Lake is a stunning volcanic lake located about 150 km west of Addis Ababa in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. Surrounded by lush green hills and dense forests, the lake sits within an extinct volcanic crater at an altitude of around 3,000 meters. It features small islands, hot springs, waterfalls, and scenic hiking trails. Visitors can explore the lake by boat, visit the historic monastery on one of its islands, or enjoy horseback riding and trekking along its picturesque landscapes.
