Buffalo springs is home to the special five of Samburu namely the generuk, the grevy, beisa oryx, Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Ol pejeta is the largest eastern black rhino concentration in East Africa. Nakuru is famous for abundant greater and lesser flamingos. Masai Mara is world famous for the spectacular wildebeest migration between July to September.
