2 travelers on Start dateLake Mburo National Park is home to several wildlife species endemic to Uganda. It is the only place in the country that supports a population of impalas (from which Kampala city derives its name) and one of three protected areas home to Burchell's zebra, the other two other parks, Kidepo and Pian-Upe National Parks, being less accessible. Antelopes are topi, bushbuck, duiker, oribi, defassa waterbuck, and bohor reedbuck. Giraffes have also been recently introduced to the park.
