Tsau //Khaeb National Park (formerly Sperrgebiet National Park) can be visited throughout the year, but in general the best time to go is during the cooler months from May to October. It can be uncomfortably hot and humid during the Wet season, which runs from November to April.

- Cooler around midday (except for October)
- Very little rainfall
- Temperatures can be cold in the early morning
- Lüderitz (the base town for exploring the park) can get busy in high season
November to April –Wet Season – Summer
- Bird watching is a big attraction, especially when migrants are present
- Low-season rates might apply to hotels in Lüderitz from December to June
- It can be very hot
- If combining Tsau //Khaeb with other Namibian parks, these are not the best months for wildlife viewing
