Tsimanampetsotsa National Park can be visited throughout the year, although it is very hot in the Wet season (November to March). The cooler months of the Dry season (April to October) offer better hiking conditions. This is also when flamingos are around.

High Season July, August and December holidays (The park doesn’t get busy)

Low Season November to March (It is very hot)

Best Weather June to September (It is cooler)

Worst Weather December to March (It is hot and humid)

It rains only a little
Hiking is easier in cooler and less-humid conditions
Lemurs and tortoises can be found throughout the year
Some reptiles and lemurs are less active

November to March Wet Season – Summer
