Most visitors to Madagascar arrive in the capital city of Antananarivo (Tana) at Ivato International Airport (TNR). The tour operator will usually pick you up on arrival and handle all further transportation.
Tsimanampetsotsa National Park is an off-the-beaten-track destination on the west coast of Madagascar, 260km/162mi south of Toliara (Tuléar). Tsimanampetsotsa can be visited on a long day trip from Anakoa, which is 50km/31mi north of the park entrance, or on an overnight trip (camping only).
