Malaria Risk
Malaria is high risk throughout the country, except in high-altitude areas over 2,000m/6,500ft, including Mt Elgon and the Rwenzori Mountains. Most other national parks are high-risk zones. The highest risk of transmission is during the rainy seasons (March to May and September to November). See the websites below for more detailed advice.
