Beautiful country with diverse scenery and wildlife
We absolutely loved our trip in Uganda. We spent 14 days on a round trip and experienced many different landscapes and saw many interesting animals. The beautiful mountains with rainforest and tea plantations was a lovely contrast to the savannah and forest national parks. A highlight of course was seeing the mountain gorillas & chimpanzees. The people of Uganda were always friendly & welcoming and showed amazing hospitality. We always felt very safe. We traveled with Home to Africa and had the best experience. 10/10 would recommend.

Breathtaking
Brian was the absolute best tour guide ever! Seeing as it was my first time in Uganda, let alone Africa as a whole, Brian was more than happy to indulge me by explaining various facts historical events to me.
Queen Elizabeth NP was by far one of the most scenic and godly parks I’ve ever been to. The rolling planes and lush greenery gave way to herds of Buffalo, a pride of lions, and a fairly new (based on side) herd of elephants.
As well, he also went above and beyond to ensure I saw the big cats, as I mentioned that has been a dream of mine.
Aside from that, I got to experience chimp trekking, and see and feel the power eminating from the alpha chimps, as we viewed their hierarchy.
From Queen Elizabeth, Brian took me to Mpigi, where I toured a sanctuary.
After my short stay in Mpigi, I got to experience the Nile in Jinja.
Uganda was fortunately my home for 5 weeks, while I was on internship. The people, food, and sense of community is something I am definitely missing.
When I return to Africa, I definitely will be stopping by and paying Ngege Kufurahi Safaris another visit, to perhaps see Murchison Falls or Mburro NP!
Be sure to book through them as they are very accommodating to student budgets, and go above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable.

Enjoying Nature in Uganda
My guide Herman was excellent. He took good care of me throughout the one-week safari that I signed up for. He amazed me with his knowledge of birds even though I wasn't on a birding trip. He was an excellent and safe driver as well.
I was able to see many types of large and small animals throughout the week, including elephants, various types of monkeys, lions, and all types of antelopes. For me personally, the highlight was seeing the chimpanzees and the gorillas up close. It truly is an awe-inspiring experience that is difficult to put into words.
One last thing - the lodges were amazing and much better than I expected. They were truly top-notch, with picturesque views.
Overall, Tubale Safari company gave me an unforgettable experience that will last a lifetime.

Amazing wildlife, beautiful scenery
Uganda has been wonderful. As a solo female traveler, I have felt nothing but safe here. The wildlife atvthe national parks is incredible- I’ve seen a shoebill stork, baboons, many different antelope, many many elephants, giraffes, lions, warthogs, buffalo and best of all, mountain gorillas. It was the trip of a lifetime, an amazing amount of animals in a relatively small country. I loved Ugandan food (lots of veg and vegan options) and the people have been great. Highly recommend.

Amazing destination, can't recommend it enough.
Uganda is a fantastic travel destination offering amazing scenery, plenty of wild animals to see in their natural environment and really nice people. I felt safe all the time and in certain places the level of professionalism was better than in countries that are considered more traditional destinations. I stayed in superb lodges. I love the fact that Uganda really cares about their nature and their animal and uses them with respect to attract and host tourists. Among the animals that you can see in large numbers: giraffes, hippos, elephants, zebras, antilopes , empalas, buffalo and of course the chimps and gorillas.

A country green and lush, helpful friendly people, amazing birdlife and animals
A green and lush country at all times of the year. with helpful and friendly people. There is huge variety in the countryside from the lakes of Mutanda in the southwest to the plains of the north, the unusual crater lakes. The birdlife is amazing so much variety - many types of kingfishers and every other bird. Of course seeing the Gorillas and chimpanzees is a highlight and few other countries can offer this. The game parks have a wide variety of life and the river trips are well worth it. Also Rhino walking trips. Altogether a wonderful country to visit. African adventure vacations with Mustafa as the guide were terrific

Exceeded my expectations
Uganda exceeded my expectations. It was quite clean and organized and very very indeed very much green! And that pleased me much. Many nice places to go: Islands in Victoria and bunyoni lake among others. Of course traffic is a big problem, especially if you can not use a Boda Boda (motorcycle táxi)

Uganda is rich and diverse in all it nature.
My trip to Uganda was drying the month of April. I was told it was going to be raining but quite the opposite happened and it turned out to be mostly sunny the entire week.
I did my tour with Home to Africa and my tour guide was William. The tour company was great and flexible around my timings and requests.
I managed to see everything that was offered and more. Uganda a is rich is its nature and diverse in its wildlife. I particularly enjoyed all my stays as all the lodges were accommodating and the people are ever so gracious. The food is over flowing and flavourful and I only wish I could stay longer.
I especially enjoyed the majestic elephants and the Gorillas. The country certainly has an abundance and co exist freely especially in todays world.
I thoroughly enjoyed my trip in Uganda and am certainly looking forward to my next trip back.
