Uganda is an amazing place to view wildlife. In 5 days, I saw everything - chimps, gorillas, lions (and cubs), hippos, hyena, water buffalo, antelope, elephants, and tons of birds. Everyone I met was incredibly friendly and I felt completely safe with my guides... It is an incredible value - not nearly as expensive as other trips I researched.
I liked the fact that noone knew what we were going to see and in the end, everybody resumed that we didn't miss anything!

Best Safari experience I have had
I was in a safari in the Amazonas and India before but in Uganda I had the chance to see much more wonderful species of fauna , the organization and accommodation was superior and cheaper .

Uganda is a unique place to visit with its numerous travel highlights for photographers, adventurers and birders. It is outstanding for wildlife adventures in lush rainforests to savannah reserves. There are approximately 1000 birds, climbing tree lions, several varieties of primates along with observing chimps, mountain gorillas and breathtaking scenery.
I went to queen elizabeth national park, ishasha sector and watched tree climbing lions,we enjoyed th
The accomodation was abush lodge and it was movolous.

Beautiful Uganda
Uganda has a rich variety of landscapes. Its people are very friendly and helpful. It has hands down the best birding watching of any place I have visited. Murchison Fall National Park has to be the number one game drive location in the country - the abundance of wildlife and landscapes within the park are breath taking. I would recommend Murchison Falls National Park over Queen Elizabeth National Park as it had less wildlife (although more birds). The landscapes in the north of Queen Elizabeth National Park aren't as dramatic as in the southern Ishasha sector. If I were to return I would focus my time and game drives in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. In general Uganda would have to be the most beautiful country I have visited - I have never seen such a diversity of landscapes... savannah, mountains, tea plantations, rainforest, mixed arable, lakes, on and on, just amazing. I would recommend Uganda as a birding and safari location. We had very close encounters with many animals and often we were the only ones spending that time with the animal/herd.
Great safari experience
Our safari in Selous national park was very professional from start to end, Ndamungu very responsive . They picked us up from the hotel on time and the safari followed the agreed pattern. Our guide,Ernest, was fantastic and very knowledgeable. He knew where to look for the various animals, had great vision to spot them, went off-road when needed to, great driving and fantastic spirit, funny and friendly all the way through our 3-days,it is very joyful for me never had that before.
We strongly recommend to book you safar with Mercury Zanzibar Safari
