Enjoy an early breakfast, followed by a full day in the park with a picnic lunch break along the Mara River. The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during the migration season from early July to the end of September. Zebras, impalas, topis, giraffes, and Thomson gazelle are regularly seen, as well as leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, and bat-eared foxes. Black rhinos are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River, as are enormous Nile crocodiles, who lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures.
Later, you will return to Zebra Plains in the evening for an arranged bush nature walk with an experienced and knowledgeable guide in a wildlife conservation area.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Serengeti National Park
Enjoy an early morning breakfast, check out with lunch boxes, and then make your way to the Tanzanian border post at Isebania, where you will meet our Tanzanian liaison for your transfer to the Serengeti. Please ensure you have a valid visa to enter Tanzania, as visa application arrival can cost you a lot of time.
After clearing the Kenya/Tanzania border of Isebania, you'll exchange your vehicle after immigration formalities. The driving itself, although long, is spectacular. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will know why the name means, in the local language, "endless plains." It is the home of the Great Migration and to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and all kinds of antelopes.

You will find the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. Ngorongoro crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world and is surrounded by very steep walls rising 610 meters from the floor.
