You will be picked up from your hotel or the airport in Dar es Salaam in the morning. You will be driven to Nyerere National Park and when you arrive, lunch will be served. After checking in, head out on an afternoon sunset safari cruise on the Rufiji River.

Nyerere National Park

After breakfast, depart on a full day game drive through Nyerere National Park with a packed lunch. The guide will take into account any special requests you have and try to show you as many animals as possible. You will return to the lodge for dinner.

After breakfast, you will head out on a shared full-day game drive including the Chemka Hot Springs. The Chemka Hot Springs, is a natural geothermal oasis located fed by underground streams filtered through volcanic rock, these turquoise pools maintain a comfortable temperature year-round, perfect for swimming and relaxation. Surrounded by lush greenery and palm trees, Chemka Hot Springs offer a serene escape into nature, popular for their scenic beauty and therapeutic mineral-rich waters.

Nyerere - Dar es Salaam

This morning you will head out on a bush walk to get closer to nature and to learn about the smaller things which make up the Nyerere ecosystem. Afterwards, you will be transferred via road back to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the late afternoon. Alternatively, we can also arrange a flight to Zanzibar at an additional cost.
