Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

Our day begins early between 6:00-6:30am as we descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. The earlier we descend the great we increase the chances of encountering the black rhinos.

From the comfort of your open-roof 4*4 land cruiser (safari vehicle) spend the majority of the time exploring the Crater. With its 600- to 650-meter-high walls, Ngorongoro Crater resembles a natural zoo. The landscape here shifts greatly depending on the season, and you're guaranteed to observe scenes found nowhere else in Tanzania.

After the chills and thrills of the day, you will have a picnic lunch by the famous hippo pool. Later, after another game drive we'll head to Jungle Pearl, a unique lodge with a distinct "Zanzibar vibe" located just 1 kilometer from Lake Manyara National Park.

Unwind at the lodge and enjoy a delicious dinner, reflecting on the day's incredible wildlife encounters.

After a morning packed with excitement, we'll pause for a delightful picnic lunch by the river's edge. Tarangire is home to an annual migration that rivals Serengeti's famous spectacle. But here's the kicker: the sheer number of elephants gathering at the riverbanks during the dry season is truly breathtaking!

Then it's back on the safari trail for another exhilarating game drive, soaking in the sights and sounds of this incredible landscape. Washrooms are available at all entry gates and picnic sites. Thereafter, our guide will drive you to Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport for your early evening flight to Zanzibar.
