Day 1

You will be picked up from the airport by a Eyes Of Tanzania representative and driven to Rivertrees Country Inn. This accommodation is set in Northern Tanzania just outside the bustling safari town of Arusha, Rivertrees looks out toward Mt Kilimanjaro, and is perfectly situated for exploring the abundant nature reserves that this region is home to. Depending on your arrival time, you will hopefully have time to refresh and before dinner you will be briefed about your awaiting adventure.

Day 2

Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park

After breakfast, your Eyes Of Tanzania driver guide will pick you up and continue to Arusha National Park. The park is the gate way to Mount Meru.
Arusha National Park has a rich variety of wildlife, but visitors shouldn't expect the same game-viewing experience they find in other national parks of Tanzania's northern circuit. Despite the small size of the park, common animals include giraffe, Cape buffalo, zebra, warthog, the black-and-white colobus monkey, the blue monkey, flamingo, elephant, bushbuck and many other African animals.
Today you will start with a walking safari with an armed ranger, this will take 2-4hours, then you will continue with game drive. After picnic lunch, you will do a canoe trip in one of Momela lakes. Late afternoon you will drive back to Rivertrees Inn for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will leave for Tarangire National park. It will take around two and a half hours to get there.
The park is famous for its high density of elephants and baobab trees. Expect to see large herds of thousands of zebra, wildebeest and cape buffalo. Other common resident animals include waterbuck, giraffe, dik dik, impala, eland, Grant's gazelle, vervet monkey, banded mongoose, and olive baboon. Predators in Tarangire include lion, leopard, cheetah, caracal, honey badger, and African wild dog.
Home to more than 550 bird species, the park is a haven for bird enthusiasts. The park is also famous for the termite mounds that dot the landscape. Those that have been abandoned are often home to dwarf mongoose.
In between game drive you will enjoy your lunch at one of the picnic site inside the park.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will drive to Serengeti, game drive enroute. You will have a stop at Ngorongoro Crater rim to view the crater. On the way you will have a stop at one of the picnic site for lunch. You will then continue to your accommodation in central Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Tanzania Bush Camp.

Serengeti National Park is well known for the largest annual animal migration in the world of over 1.5 million blue wildebeest and 250,000 zebra along with smaller herds of Thomson's gazelle and eland. The national park is also home to the largest lion population in Africa. It is under threat from deforestation, population growth and ranching. Enjoy!

Today you will do a full day game drive. Enjoy your lunch at one of the picnic site. Late afternoon you will drive back to your accommodation for dinner and over night. If you are lucky this is the chance to see the big 5. If not dont wory, you still have chance while in Ngorongoro Crater tomorrow.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will drive to Ngorongoro Conservation and down to the crater for game drive.
The Crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago and it covers an area of 260 km². The Crater is famous for both its geological delights and for being a natural reserve that is home to some of the densest large mammal populations in the whole of the African continent. After you descend into the Crater, you quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. The Crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino.
Later on drive to Endoro Lodge.

After breakfast, you will start driving to Arusha Airport, on the way you will explore the unique Maasai culture by visiting a rural community and learning about their practices. Finish the day by transferring to the airport for an afternoon flight to Zanzibar. At Zanzibar airport our Eyes Of Tanzania driver will be waiting for you to bring you to your accommodation.

On your first day, start by exploring the intriguing Prison Island, officially known as Changuu Island. You'll have the opportunity to meet the giant tortoises that inhabit the island and learn about its history, including the remnants of a former prison. In the afternoon, make your way to Stone Town, the historic heart of Zanzibar. Wander through its winding streets, visit iconic landmarks like the House of Wonders and the Old Fort, and soak in the rich culture and architecture of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the evening, treat yourself to a delicious Zanzibar dinner at Tembo House.

After breakfast you will be picked up and head to the spice farm or plantation. You will be guided with an experience spice tour guide. You will learn about the various spices grown in the island and their uses. The tour will take about 3 hours.
