Beyond the comfort zone... or my trip to Kili. 🏔 Safari Mabri Adventures

Thank you Tanzania and thank you Kilimanjaro Mountain for saying yes! The guides always told me that he decides whether you can go up or not. And that's exactly how it is ... 🙏🏻

Thanks to our two super guides, a cook and 14 porters for three guests!
The porters really deserve the greatest respect, always walking the same routes with 20kg on their backs (or heads!), dismantling everything behind us ⛺️ 🚽 🧼 and as soon as you arrive at the new camp site, they've already set everything up again ... 😳
Without these tireless helpers, none of this would be possible for us flatlanders! 👏

Seven nights in a tent, great views, good food and lots of fun!

And then the summit day, what can I say! We set off at 00:00 🌙 at an altitude of 4,600 metres and arrived overjoyed after six hours and just in time for sunrise at the summit of Uhuru Peak at 5,985 metres and -15 degrees. As a reward, we then descended 3,000 metres in altitude so that we could recover.
One of the toughest and longest days I have ever experienced, with many doubts at night as to whether it would be possible in the thin air? 🤔 And without the encouragement of the guides and their motivating chants, my dream would never have come true! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Our safari with Eyes of Tanzania was nothing short of magical! We explored the stunning Arusha National Park, the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, the wonderful Tarangire national park and the beautiful Lake Manyara. Every destination offered breathtaking views and incredible wildlife encounters. The organization was flawless, and the guides were not only knowledgeable but also deeply passionate about the natural beauty of Tanzania. A special thank you and all our love to Rose—your warmth and dedication made this adventure truly unforgettable. We will definitely book again!

My experience on this safari was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the wildlife, making every moment exciting and informative. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five and so much more. The landscapes were breathtaking, and the accommodations were both comfortable and authentic, truly enhancing the whole experience. I would highly recommend this safari to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure. It's an experience that will stay with me forever!

3days Tarangire Nungorogoro Coffee

My mom, my two brothers, and I had an amazing time on our 3-day safari in Nungurugur, Tanzania.
Our driver, who also served as our guide, was excellent. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, the animals, and the local culture. He made the whole experience even more enjoyable by pointing out interesting details and sharing stories that really brought the landscape to life.
The scenery in Nungorogoro was stunning, with its wide-open plains and distant mountains. We were lucky enough to see a wide range of animals, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and many more. Each day was filled with excitement and new discoveries.
One of the highlights of our trip was visiting a local coffee cooperative. We got to see the entire process of how coffee is grown, harvested, and processed. It was fascinating to learn about the work that goes into producing the coffee we enjoy every day, and the people at the cooperative were incredibly welcoming. Plus, the coffee we tasted was some of the best we've ever had!
Overall, our guide truly made this trip special for us. His expertise, friendliness, and enthusiasm added so much to the experience. We’re very grateful to him and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure in Tanzania.
