We will pick you up from your accommodation at 8:00am, where you will meet your guide. Then, we will drive to Tarangire National Park for the next two hours. Tarangire is famous for its abundant ancient baobab trees and is home to the largest concentration of elephants in the country! You will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with these magnificent creatures and observe the interactions between different elephant families. During our game drive, we will keep an eye out for animal sightings. Tarangire is also home to many herbivores, such as giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras, while the more elusive predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards also inhabit the area.
Afterward, we will have lunch at a riverside picnic spot, where we can enjoy the beautiful river view and observe the local wildlife. Please be cautious of baby monkeys and baboons that may attempt to startle you.
Later on, we will travel to Karatu for dinner and spend the night there.

Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Arusha
Early risers are rewarded with stunning views of the sun rising over the edge of the crater! After a hearty breakfast, you will embark on a thrilling journey into the crater. It is one of the Seven Wonders of Africa and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, boasting an incredible ecosystem formed millions of years ago by a massive volcanic explosion. The crater spans approximately 260km² (100mi²) and reaches a depth of 610m (2,000ft). Among all Tanzanian parks, the crater offers the best opportunities for game-viewing due to its abundant animal population, estimated at 25,000. Within minutes, you can encounter elephants, zebras, gazelles, wildebeest, and over 500 bird species. If you are lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the critically endangered black rhino hiding in the grass.
