Domestic flight to Kisoro

Pick up and transfer back to the Entebbe airport for your domestic flight to the west. Check in time to be advised as it changes from time to time (06:30hrs) and departure time is 07:00hrs (to be reconfirmed with you E-ticket). As opposed to the road experience, this flight offers an aerial view of the scenic beauty of the central and western region. Flight takes about one hour and thirty minutes depending on the weather and routing.

Meet your safari guide at the airstrip and transfer to the lodge. Optional activities such as Lake Mutanda canoe excursion and batwa community tour can be organized on request at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the edge of the forest.

Gorilla trekking is among fascinating, heart stopping, hair raising and spine-tingling wildlife encounters that alters the course of your soul and electrifies your sense of travel like never before leaving you with great memories in your heart.

Just a few 1000's mountain gorillas are still remaining on this planet with Uganda hosting about 51% of the total population, offering the best opportunity to watch these gentle giants in both Bwindi.

After your early breakfast, you will have short drive to the UWA briefing center where you will be taken through the dos and don’ts while tracking gorillas. After you have been allocated a gorilla family in a group of 8 Pax, you will be led by the armed ranger guide off the forest to search for gorillas. When gorillas have been located, you will have one full hour viewing them as they go on with their daily lives at a distance of 7-10 meters. Enjoy lunch in the middle of no where, later transfer back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Am flight back to Entebbe international Airport

After your breakfast, you will driver to airstrip for your domestic flight back to Entebbe. Check in time and departure time will be advised earlier or as per your online printed ticket.

In case you have a connecting flight, you just connect from there. However, if you have an evening flight, we can book for you a day room use at an extra cost (to be pre booked) or organize for you a short tour in Entebbe to see the shoebill in Mabamba wetlands or Ngamba Island to see chimpanzees or botanical gardens for a nature walk or birding or Uganda Wildlife Education Centre for chimpanzee up-close or behind the scenes where you will take part in feeding animals among other. (These extra activities must be pre booked). End of the tour. This tour can be customized to your liking and preferences.
