Your journey begins with your arrival at Kigali International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. After a brief city tour of Kigali, you'll set off on a scenic drive to Musanze, the gateway to Volcanoes National Park. You will enjoy the picturesque landscapes as you make your way to your budget-friendly accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus to learn more about gorilla conservation.

Golden Monkey Tracking in Volcanoes National Park

You'll start your day with an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on golden monkey tracking. Accompanied by experienced guides, you will embark on an exhilarating trek through the bamboo forest in search of these lively and rare primates. Once you encounter the golden monkeys, you'll have the opportunity to spend an hour observing their behavior and interactions in their natural habitat. After the trek, you will return to your lodge for lunch before crossing the border into Uganda, where you'll drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, your guide will take you to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking. You will then set off into the dense forest in search of a gorilla family. Once you find them, you’ll spend an awe-inspiring hour observing these magnificent creatures up close. After the trek, you’ll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, where you can relax and enjoy the stunning views of Uganda's deepest lake. The evening is yours to unwind and reflect on the day's incredible experience.
