Upon arrival at the airport, you'll be transported to the Forest Hill Hotel. On your first day, you'll embark on a sightseeing tour of Arusha, exploring local markets, the Maasai market, cultural heritage sites, and the Arusha City Museum. You will do the sightseeing tour in Arusha depending on your time, without forgetting the sunset at Kilimamoto.

Arusha to Ndutu
After your beakfast, you'll embark on a drive to Ndutu, stopping for lunch along the way. The journey will take approximately 5.5 hours, covering 260 kilometers. As you enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you'll notice a dramatic shift in the landscape from forested hills to open plains and grasslands.
Ndutu is a key area for the annual migration of wildebeest, zebras, and other ungulates. During the calving season (December to April), you'll witness thousands of wildebeest giving birth, attracting predators like lions and hyenas. The Ndutu region is also home to six species of big cats and offers abundant wildlife, especially during the dry season when animals congregate around the Ndutu and Masek lakes.

Ndutu to Ngorongoro Conservation area
After breakfast, you'll embark on a morning game drive in the Ndutu area, including a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you'll drive to the Ngorongoro Crater rim, a journey of approximately 75 kilometers that takes about 2.5 hours. Along the way, you'll have opportunities to spot wildlife. The Ngorongoro Crater is a renowned geological wonder and a haven for diverse wildlife. You'll end the day with dinner and relaxation at your accommodation.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
On your final day, you'll start early, enjoying a quick breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater around 6:30 AM. This massive crater, one of the world's largest volcanic calderas, spans 260 square kilometers and is over 2,000 feet deep. During your 5-6 hour game drive, you'll encounter a variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. After a picnic lunch near a hippo pool, you'll ascend back to the crater rim. The day will conclude with a 4-hour drive back to Arusha, where you'll be dropped off at your chosen location or transferred to the airport.
