Etosha, one of Africa’s largest national parks, is surprisingly easy to navigate on your own, as all roads connect back to the main route. This allows you to explore at your own pace, stopping at the many waterholes where wildlife gathers, especially during the dry season from July to October.
Nearly a quarter of the park is made up of salt pans, with the Etosha Pan standing out as its most iconic and striking feature.
