We just completed a once in a lifetime trip to the Namib desert and the Skeleton Coast! Viatu was knowledgeable, patient and forthcoming in what we should expect and helpful as we chose the trip that was right for our us. They continued to be responsive after the trip was booked. The camps we visited were beautiful and well run, the staff and guides were professional, knowledge and passionate about what they do. All transportation was reliable and on-time. This is a beautiful part of the world that needs to be seen to be truly appreciated. All of our expectations were exceeded! I highly recommend Viatu.

We had an incredible experience planning our Namibia trip with Viatu. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, allowing us to enjoy a stress-free adventure across the country.

They handled every detail, from booking our rental car for the entire trip to securing all our accommodations and activities. Their expertise and attention to detail ensured that our self-drive journey went off without a hitch—we didn’t encounter a single issue along the way!

We booked several parts of our round trip to the Western Cape and a Safari with Viatu. The whole booking process from providing suggestions to finalizing the reservation was smooth and quick. Our best accommodations and experiences were booked via Viatu. Everything exceeded our expectations and was just fantastic! The next time we will book the whole trip with Viatu. A total recommendation!

Viatu was amazing in helping to plan my trip to South Africa. Mardi is very knowledgeable about the area that I was traveling to, and was able to answer all of my questions over multiple emails and calls. She was able to quickly plan the trip that I desired and was able to adjust as necessary as we went along.

The experiences that were planned were fantastic, and I met many great people and had great tour guides throughout. Communication was easily continued through Viatu concierge on WhatsApp. The only hiccup was not having my transfer driver arrive at the airport on my first day, where communication from the Viatu concierge could have been faster.

Overall would easily recommend to others as the overall value and experience of the trip that I had was incredible. Would use again when coming back to Africa.

Its the second time that I planned a trip with Viatu and I can still recommend the agency.
Last year I went to Bali and the experience was excellent.
Due to the great support of our Bali Expert (Alisha) I had high expectations this time and was looking forward.
Last year the experience was brilliant, this year it was good. Reasons:
- I had a very nice call for the initial planning with the local expert and she promised to make a further appointment 6 weeks before the journey starts for talking about the detailed agenda. This unfortunately never happened and I missed a bit the effort and personal component in the end
- There were some things that could have been planned better (e.g immediately after the arrival and 11 hours flight, the recommendation of starting the journey with a hike is not the best idea imo.)
- In Bali we got a surprise by our local expert: a romantic sunset massage and have several times been asked, how our days have been. this time there was no surprise and until today I have never heard again from our contact person. A bit sad actually…
BUT- the service via what’s app was great and the Viatu team answered very quickly to our questions and supported us very well (e.g in booking a table in restaurants or in reserving a rental car spontaneously)
Overall it was a beautiful trip with great accommodations and activities and I will plan trips again with Viatu.
South Africa is beautiful, with super good food, clean water, amazing beaches, nature and animals. We will definitely come back to this outstanding country.
Super friendly people and a great value for money.
