The park takes its name from the Tarangire River, which serves as the only water source for wildlife during the dry season. While it has the smallest number of mammals among the parks in the Northern Circuit, it compensates with its remarkable wilderness, featuring scenic landscapes such as the Rift Valley, dense woodlands, and picturesque mountainsides. Lake Manyara serves as an excellent starting point for any adventure. Located in the Northern Circuit of Tanzania, it is just 130 kilometers from Arusha, a drive of approximately two hours. As the afternoon draws to a close, you will head to your accommodation located at Lake Eyasi for some relaxation, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
