After two weeks spent in Africa we honestly have to say that it was the best experience in our whole lives. With Barak everything was possible, he is so helpful and kind, our trip was problem free and at last but not least we had so much fun together! 😊 Thank you for everything, hope to see you again one day 😊

I first met Barack when he picked me up from the bus station in Kigali. From the very beginning, he showed genuine care and asked if I had any plans or needed assistance in Rwanda. When I shared my travel itinerary, Barack immediately proved invaluable, arranging our permits and helping my friend and me find budget-friendly accommodations near Volcanoes National Park. He even secured a driver for the rest of our trip.

When we returned to Kigali, Barack went above and beyond once again, helping me obtain a permit to see gorillas in Uganda. He connected me with his local contacts, ensuring everything was well-organized. Throughout the trip, Barack consistently offered helpful advice, valuable information, and ensured we got the best deals wherever we went.

I wholeheartedly recommend Barack to anyone in need of a trustworthy and resourceful guide. His dedication made our journey truly seamless!

Fantastic Primate Tours!

I participated in two amazing primate tours with Expedition Rwindi Voyage, both guided by Barack. First, I did a 1-day gorilla trek at Volcanoes national park. We had a great time; Barack facilitated our drive from Kigali, our hotel stay near Volcanoes, and everything to do with the trek on the day. We were in awe with how close we were to the gorilla family.
Next, I did a 1-day chimpanzee trek in Nyungwe forest. Again, Barack facilitated the drive to and from Kigali, the hotel stay near Nyungwe, and everything to do with the trek on the day. We were very lucky and saw multiple chimpanzees including a baby - I heard it is not as "guaranteed" to see chimpanzees as it is to see the gorillas.
I felt very safe and welcome with Barack. If I'm lucky, I'll come back to Rwanda to do a longer trip!

Fun and great value for money

We met Barack, our first guide, at a hostel in Kigali. He was very helpful driving us to Volcanoes National Park, as well as arranging permits and finding good yet budget-friendly accommodation. In addition, he was very funny and willing to answer all of our questions. For the remainder of our trip we drove with Patrick, who was also a very friendly and reliable driver, even though he only just joined the tour company. Overall they offered honest information and great value for money, so I would highly recommend booking with them!
