Local and family-owned Company that provides very good service
We booked the tour with Tanzania Roadside Expeditions based on a recommendation of a German friend. In total we are very happy with the decision to select this tour operator. We did three tours: one day hike at Kilimanjaro, 7 days of safari and a guided tour through Stone Town. All three Guides we had were very experienced and open-minded. Especially during safari we felt very safe due to the driving of our guide Laurian.
As communication with the local manager is via WhatsApp, we recommend to don‘t hesitate to ask as many questions as you have in particular if something is unclear. Paul is happy to adjust the journey until it fits in with your budget and your wishes.
All in all we can highly recommend to book with Tanzania Roadside Experience.

A wonderful experience
anzania Roadside Expedition helped make our trip perfect. Due to a problem with our tour operator we had to reschedule our trip a few weeks before departure. Within hours, Zephania helped us design a safari that met all our needs. Zephania was always prompt and accurate in his responses. The success of the trip was also due to our cook, Elly, but most of all to our guide, Samuel. Samuel was always very attentive to our wellbeing, fulfilling our requests and sharing most of the decisions with us. We will never forget his kindness and the pleasant conversations we had over dinner. All in all, we would definitely recommend Tanziana Roadside Expedition and its staff for your trip to Tanzania.

I spent quite a long time searching for a tour operator to organize my trip to Africa. I chose Tanzania Roadside Expeditions because I was amazed at how quickly they responded to my inquiry. Paul, the owner, was incredibly fast, flexible, and accommodating. I added and removed things from the original tour multiple times until I made it exactly as I wanted. Paul was attentive to every whim of mine without ever complaining about the frequent changes. He answered all my questions and was always available whenever I needed him. He even had to make a last-minute change to our tour because the airline changed our flight. From the initial planning stages to our final day, Paul was with us every step of the way. He even took the time to check in with us at the end of our journey, wishing us a safe trip home.
The tour was beautifully organized, and the camps were nothing short of spectacular. Nestled right in the heart of the parks, the camps offered an authentic experience surrounded by nature. It was truly magical when zebras and wildebeests visited us during the night, making the whole experience even more unforgettable.
Our guides, Dominic in Kenya and Jackson in Tanzania, were simply outstanding. Their deep knowledge of the wildlife and the landscape, combined with their infectious enthusiasm, brought every moment to life. They were always smiling, in great spirits, and went out of their way to ensure that we had the best possible experience. Their passion for what they do was evident in every detail, and they made sure we didn’t miss a single highlight.

Once is a lifetime Safari experience
After a lot of research, I decided to book our family Safari for 6 people with Tanzania Roadside Expeditions and everything was amazing! From the initial inquiry, Paul, took great care in putting together a fabulous itinerary that met our needs for budget and a mid-luxury safari experience. He was incredibly responsive via email and What's App which made organizing the trip very easy. It was so helpful to have everything take care of by Tanzania Roadside Expeditions - including the airport transfers, park fees, lodge bookings, meals, flights to Zanzibar after our trip etc. The lodges Paul selected were incredible, each so unique in their own way! We simply did not have to worry about anything, everything was taken care of from the moment we landed in Tanzania.
Justin was our tour guide for our 4 night safari, visiting Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngoronogoro Parks and we all felt so grateful to have a guide that was so warm, kind, funny and INCREDIBLY knowledgable about the animals and the parks. Justin truly made our experience what is was - AMAZING! He has been working as a guide for many years and his knowledge is unparalleled. What really blew us away was his ability to anticipate the animals movements, moving the location of our vehicle, to where the animals were going, versus sitting in the same spot as all the other trucks - the result was incredibly special movements of animals walking right by us, that we will never forget. We saw the Big 5 on our trip and this would not have been possible without Justin, and his incredible knowledge and perseverance.
We are so grateful for Tanzania Roadside Expeditions and Paul for putting together such a wonderful itinerary, and Justin for taking us on the adventure of a lifetime!!
If you are planning to visit the parks in Tanzania, I cannot recommend Tanzania Roadside Expeditions enough - they are truly incredible!

If you want to go on a safari to Tanzania or Kenya or both, look no further, Tanzania Roadside Expeditions is for you. I've booked a trip with them, for my wife and myself. Everything was as planned and discussed, and we had the time of our lives.
1). The accommodations were chosen with the help of Zephania which was our point of contact, and they were lovely.
2). Money wise you transfer a small percentage of the fee to a bank account and the rest of them are cash on arrival (they are 100% trustworthy and there is nothing to worry about!!!)
3). Guides/Drivers are total pros.
I want to give special thanks to our Tanzanian driver Ezekiel Maasai, he went far and beyond to make this trip for us unforgettable and to help us create long lasting memories. Thank you, my friend!
