Extraordinary experience with expert guides and a deep connection to the heart of Uganda.

I had the most amazing experience with African Finfoot Safaris during my three-week trip to Uganda in December 2024 and January 2025. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, welcomed, and well-cared for. My guide, Edrisa, was outstanding—professional, respectful, and incredibly friendly. He is a skilled driver, navigating all types of terrain with ease, and his deep knowledge of Uganda made the journey even more enriching.

Edrisa is not only a guide but also a bridge to the local communities, offering activities that allow you to connect with the culture in meaningful ways. He is a fantastic conversationalist, flexible, and always willing to adapt to your needs. His ability to surprise us with little touches throughout the trip made the experience even more special. Whether it was recommending unique accommodations with breathtaking views or sharing insights into Ugandan culture, everything was meticulously planned yet flexible enough to enjoy on our own terms.

Overall, this trip exceeded all my expectations, and I would wholeheartedly recommend African Finfoot Safaris for anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure in Uganda.

Our experience with African Finfoot Safaris has been one of the best we've ever lived in our long travellers life. It was a 5 days trip and there were just two of us: my wife and me. The highlights of the trip were the Gorilla and Chimps trekking, but we actually loved every single moment of our journey.
Projecting and scheduling our trip with Edrisa, the owner of the agency, was just smooth and easy. Edrisa is very experienced, helpful, honest, clear and... kind! Trust him, every single suggestion and hint from him is just... gold. We had other experiences in the past with local agencies, and the one with African Finfoot Safaris has been absolutely the best.
We had the luck to have Obed as our guide throughout the 5 days: he is very knowledgeable, patient, experienced, flexible and again... kind! In the end, we were blessed to meet a new precious friend in this short, intense and unforgettable week.

Our 10-day safari through Uganda was simply unforgettable!
Uganda is a wonderful country with indescribable landscapes and an impressive diversity. The wildlife was particularly fascinating: we were able to observe mountain gorillas up close, experience the amazing chimpanzees and thanks to our guide's keen eye, we even spotted tree-climbing lions.
We got to experience a leopard with its cubes, Elephants and lions. An absoulte hightlight was walking with zebras and giraffes.
The accommodations were well-chosen and always provided comfort and relaxation. The food was delicious and varied, and the program was perfectly organized, allowing us to experience new adventures every day.
Our guides were excellent – thank you Edrisa and Charles! You made our trip even more memorable. Even the sometimes long drives. And thanks to our DJ - the music was awesome!
This safari was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we highly recommend to any nature lover and adventurer!

Spectacular and Memorable Safari with African Finfoot Safaris

This was my second trip with African Finfoot Safaris in Uganda, and once again, it was just spectacular, memorable, and unforgettable. We (two friends and I) embarked on a ten-day tour around Uganda, experiencing all the magical activities like chimp and gorilla trekking, game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park, and relaxing on Sese Island.

Charles and Edrisa did an amazing job making the trip absolutely breathtaking. The tour planning was handled by Edrisa, who is incredibly organized and professional. Every extra wish we had was seamlessly included in the tour. They truly made everything possible.

From the moment Edrisa and Charles picked us up at the airport, we could just relax and enjoy Uganda, which is, to be honest, my favorite African country. For my two friends, it was their first trip to the African continent, and after returning, they now understand why I am so fascinated by the country.

Throughout the tour, everything was well-organized and worked out perfectly. Charles was a very attentive and safe tour guide and driver, ensuring we felt secure at all times. The car was in perfect condition, and all the accommodations we stayed in were just wonderful.

African Finfoot Safaris collaborates with various community accommodations, ensuring that part of the money goes back to support the local community. During our game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park, we were incredibly lucky to spot a mother leopard with her two cubs playing and relaxing by the road. We also saw elephants crossing our path and, thanks to our guides, we were the only people in the park to spot the tree-climbing lions in Ishasha.

During the sometimes long drives, we had great conversations, which helped us become friends. I would highly recommend African Finfoot Safaris for a safe, perfectly organized, and wonderful trip with amazing people in a beautiful country. I will definitely go again next year.

Myself and my partner really enjoyed our safari to Murchison Falls National Park. This was a fabulous trip, our tour guide Charles was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about animals. He took pride in informing us about the different animals, and answered any questions we had. A reliable and great service, would highly recommend this trip.
