Excellent 3 days in Masai Mara
I joined the 4-day, 3-night Maasai Mara safari, and it was an unforgettable experience.
During the first two days in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, our guide, Raheem, was fantastic. He worked incredibly hard to help us find wildlife, and thanks to him we were able to see both a leopard and a cheetah from an amazingly close distance. One of the highlights was visiting the Mara River to watch the wildebeest gathering at the riverbank. Although we were a little unlucky and didn’t get to witness the actual river crossing, seeing hundreds of wildebeest preparing to cross was still breathtaking and is something I’ll never forget.
On the third day, our guide was Albert, and he was just as dedicated. He spent the entire day searching for wildlife and made sure we had the best possible sightings. We were lucky enough to watch a pride of lions feeding on a zebra, which was an incredible and unforgettable moment. We also watched elephants drinking at a waterhole. Albert was always willing to reposition the vehicle from different angles so everyone could capture the best photos without disturbing the animals.
A huge thank you to both Raheem and Albert for their knowledge, patience, and dedication. They truly made this safari an amazing experience that I will remember for a lifetime.
Brian Ondigo is the best driver and tour guide in the world.
Seamless, hassel-free, and efficient service from booking to the safari and back.
Outstanding
Jockey Tour operators are the most responsive, professional and capable tour operators. They responded quickly to every question I had, and were very patient and knowledgeable.
We spent 3 adventurous days at the Masai Mara Safari made even more exciting by our very capable, kind and knowledgeable driver Brian Ondigo. Brian is an expert driver and we felt safe with him. During the safari he took the time to make sure we saw all the animals and experienced the best views possible. He was also extremely patient with us as we took the time to make sure we captured the perfect photos. Overall, Brian was excellent! He was attentive to our needs, very professional, and his easygoing personality made our experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend Brian to anyone looking for a fun and rich adventure.

Everything was taken care of perfectly, we didn’t have to stress about a thing!
We did a 4-day safari in the Masai Mara with Jocky Tours in Kenya, and it was an amazing experience.
After requesting it, we were picked up directly from our hotel and were able to leave our suitcases at the Jocky Tours office before the journey began. From there, we drove about six hours to the camp. Our driver, David Mukami, always stopped whenever we needed a bathroom break or anything else during the trip.
After the rather long and bumpy drive, we arrived at the camp, which was much better equipped than we had expected. We received a warm welcome and were able to put our belongings in our tent before enjoying our first lunch. The food took a little getting used to, but overall it was good. There was always rice or fried potatoes available, so even as a very picky eater, I was always able to find something to eat.
The tents were spacious and each had its own private bathroom with basic facilities. We had expected to share a communal bathroom, so this was a very pleasant surprise.
Our first game drive with David Mukami was fantastic. He answered all of our questions, was incredibly helpful, and did everything he could to make sure we had the best experience. He knew the park extremely well, which meant that by the second day we had already seen every animal living there. He always found the best viewing spots, and we were even lucky enough to witness the Great Migration with a river crossing—an absolutely breathtaking experience.
For lunch, we were given lunch boxes by the camp. Our request for vegetarian meals was always taken into account, which we really appreciated. The lunch boxes were okay, although nothing particularly special.
On the third day, we had the optional opportunity to visit a nearby Maasai village for $20 per person. It was interesting, but not something you absolutely have to do.
The fourth day at Lake Nakuru was spectacular as well. David continued to do everything he could to help us find the last missing member of the Big Five—the rhino. Thanks to his dedication, we succeeded!
The rest of our group had booked a 7-day safari, but everything was very well organized for us too. After Lake Nakuru, we were taken to our final lunch stop, where we were picked up separately. Our suitcases were already waiting for us, and another driver took us directly back to our hotel in Nairobi.
Overall, the safari exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend Jocky Tours to anyone visiting Kenya. A very special thank you goes to David Mukami—he was by far the best driver and guide we could have asked for. His knowledge of the parks was outstanding, he was incredibly kind, and he truly made our safari unforgettable.
