Amazing safari with Alex
We had an amazing 7-day safari with Alex, visiting Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha and Amboseli. He was extremely professional, kind and knowledgeable, always answering our questions and stopping whenever we wanted. Thanks to him, we saw all the Big Five, many of them incredibly close! We couldn't have asked for a better guide. Highly recommended!

Unforgettable 7-day safari in Kenya with Alex - the ultimate guide!
Our 7-day safari in Kenya was an absolute dream, and we owe it all to our incredible guide, Alex. Thanks to his amazing spotting skills and deep knowledge of the wild, we managed to see all the Big Five! Alex is a true professional and always punctual. He knew exactly where to take us at the right time, making every single day unique. If you are planning a safari in Kenya, do yourself a favor and ask for Alex. 5 stars are not enough!
Attentive to our needs, matched our personality, and gave us a memorable experience!
The tour was amazing! Everything was taken care of and all we had to do was sit back and relax. The guide was so helpful and also matched our energy. He was attentive to our needs and our interests. The sopa lodges were also wonderful and catered to the tourists well. Overall, we felt very welcomed and taken care of.

Review: Needs Major Improvements in Logistics and Support
I recently completed a 7-day Kenya safari with my father. While a safari in Kenya is inherently beautiful, our overall experience was unfortunately marred by several operational shortcomings and a lack of clear communication from the team.
Main Concerns:
Vehicle & Seating: We were promised guaranteed window seats, but during the Masai Mara leg, the vehicle was packed with 8 passengers, leaving me in a rear middle seat. The vehicle itself was also quite worn down and not in optimal condition.
Itinerary Changes: Our scheduled evening game drive at Lake Nakuru was cancelled without prior notice. Additionally, on our final day, the schedule was changed—instead of doing a morning game drive followed by breakfast and departure, we were checked out early and driven straight back to Nairobi.
Pickup Logistics: We were initially requested to walk to meet the vehicle rather than being picked up at our hotel, though the team did bring the vehicle over after we requested it.
Time Management & Logistics: Out of 7 days, only 2 to 3 days felt productive for wildlife viewing. Much of the remaining time was spent on transit and guest coordination, including long 2.5-hour lunch stops waiting for other travelers to join.
Communication & Support: Pre-trip communication was minimal, and once the tour commenced, we received no responses to our queries or feedback regarding the itinerary changes.
I am sharing this feedback in the hope that the agency improves its logistics, honors seating commitments, and enhances communication for future travelers.

Reliable, responsive, and perfect for first-time safari
We’re a group of 5 girls on our very first trip to Africa, and for some of us, our first safari ever. We were nervous and had no idea who to choose, so we researched and compared the operators with the most reviews. Jocky stood out — and the reviews turned out to be completely true. They were super responsive, responsible, and reliable throughout.
We traveled during peak season, so prices were high and accommodation was tight. There was a small hiccup — the quote we’d been given was no longer available when we went to confirm. But David and his team found us a happy solution, and in the end we all agreed the whole experience was worth the money.
Safety was our biggest concern as an all-girl group, and we felt completely safe and cared for the entire time. We had a private group, which made everything more comfortable. David arranged an amazing guide for us — Michael, who has over two decades of safari experience. It shows. He knows everyone, which means he knows where the animals are, the best spots, and how to catch the interesting sightings. His driving was impressive too — bumpy at times, but the “African massage” was never too rough!
Our jeep was a Land Cruiser with a roof that opens, so we could see clearly and without eating too much dust. Michael struck a perfect balance between sharing his knowledge and letting us simply enjoy nature. He answered all our questions patiently, and you could really feel his love for the land and his animal friends. He always worked to get us a clear view while minimizing disturbance to the wildlife.
Over 3 days and 2 nights, we saw so much: zebras, giraffes, elephants, wildebeest, warthogs, and many kinds of antelope, plus sleeping lions, a cheetah, and several other cats. We didn’t catch the wildebeest crossing the river, but we did see them lined up across the savanna — an unforgettable scene, especially at sunset.
We stayed at Enkorok Mara Camp — a wonderful place. We were put in the new building, in a family room connecting two rooms with a shared common area. Hot showers, great food. We loved it.
Two honest tips: peak season means lots of animals, but also lots of jeeps, so expect crowds around the sightings. And be ready — it gets very dusty!
We couldn’t have asked for a better first safari. Thank you, David and Michael!
