We booked a private safari in Masaai Mara and Amboseli with Savannah Woods Safaris.
Before we booked, Lucy quickly provided us with several very comprehensive quotations for different options, explaining all the costs, the inclusions, and the description of the activities. The booking was straightforward, and we are really satisfied of that.
During the safari, we were picked up at the hotel at the time agreed by our guide, Mr. Anthony, he was an extremely pleasant, informative , helpful, and always willing to meet our requests.
The safari was great, we are extremely happy about our experience and we definitely recommend choosing Savannah Woods Safaris.

George is a great guide. I was on a private tour with him for 4 days/3 nights. I am an avid photographer and tend to have wants that are somewhat different than the typical Safari guest. First of all I have done too many safaris to count. Secondly I want to stay at one place longer than most would - waiting for that perfect shot. George was also great at finding great opportunities for once in a lifetime photos.
Everything from the customization of the tour through the execution to my eventual departure for Zambia was perfect. Thank you and I will be looking forward to seeing you again.

I have journeyed around the world and seen different countries for their wildlife and nature. I can say, with confidence, that Savannah Woods Safaris was the best among nature and wildlife tour providers I have ever encountered. It took them just an afternoon to come back to me with several tour plans, allowing me to choose one that suited my interests and budget. The itinerary included three game drives in two national parks and one diving excursion in a marine national park. They guided me every step of the way, ensuring that everything ran smoothly, and it was only when I settled into my seat on the plane to leave Kenya that they felt a sense of relief. I recommend them to anyone wishing to see the beautiful country of Kenya. Depending on your budget and time, I am sure they will plan the best journey for you and provide excellent service throughout.

Savannah Woods Safari is AMAZING. Please go ahead and book with them. I have contacted several tour operators in Kenya and they are very slow to respond, especially with last minute bookings.

But Lucy from Savannah Woods Safari helped me a lot for my last minute Safari bookong and was always ready to respond within minutes 24/7.

Her and Josphat's team are excellent guides (Especially RICHARD Please look for him as your guide). They make sure you see all the Big 5 within a day and just a stone's throw away.

Their prices are very reasonable too.

I have been to several safaris in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and I have to say that Masai Mara Kenya is the best! You don't need to spend days finding lions, etc. In fact all Big 5 (and ugly 5) are abundant in Kenya.

Suffice to say, none of this amazing trip in Kenya would have happened if it weren't for Lucy and Josphat, and Richard at Savannah Woods Safari.

Lucy was our contact to book our trip and she always responded to our enquiries. The tour delivered everything we expected. Jack, our driver and guide was excellent and we saw so many animals close up. He put in extra effort to show us animals in far off locations and to extend our visit to the park. Well done!
