Good communication about the booking process.
Good program and everything (pick up, lunch, (cold) drinks, charge possibilities and a clean car every day) was arranged very well.
The guide was very eager to find the big five and we (3 young women) felt save with him.

We thought we would spend 2 days in Serengeti, but it were 24 hours.

Our experience with Amshar was good. The package of safari with hot air balloon, with accommodation and food was great.
Our driver was very efficient at getting you to point A to Point B, we saw all the big five up close. Which was phenomenal, but our driver was missing enthusiasm about these animals.... Read more We received little to no information as to where we were driving to next, when we arrived to an animal, you’re expected to kind of know already what animal it is. Any questions were responded to with one answer words.
In the safari car you get a cooler fridge, we asked multiple times to drop for refreshments aside from water, like Coke & beers ( to enjoy all day driving) it was like asking for a favor to deviate from course. Reliability and Value for Money was very good. This was just our experience and I guess everyone wants different things. Our group would have rather had a more immersive educational experience and see only 3 of the big five.

I would absolutely recommend Amshar and our guide Loth to anyone considering a Safari in northern Tanzania.

Amshar were great at tailoring the Safari to our needs (including organising flights to Zanzibar at the conclusion). They were responsive, organised and professional and at no point did... Read more I have concerns about the quality of the service which was provided.

Loth was fantastic. We got along really well, he was very interesting and knowledgeable, and I believe that he really cared about us and our experience. We also had dinner one night with some of the other drivers from Amshar who were also in the same camp (including Stanley) who seemed like they would be equally as good.

The accomodation was faultless, and on the last night we were even treated to a few lions stalking animals through our camp (though at no point did we feel unsafe).

We managed to see every animal that you could possibly want to, and I very much attribute this to the determination of Loth and the organisation of Amshar.

If I was going to do another Safari I would definitely use Amshar, and I would recommend them to everyone I know.

We, a family of four, had an incredible 4-day safari in Tanzania, exploring the stunning landscapes of Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The wildlife was absolutely breathtaking—we saw most of the animals and even witnessed the incredible wildebeest and zebra migrations, which was our main objective. We also... Read more saw lions chasing wildebeests and then eating their prey, cheetahs, and even a leopard! Our guide was fantastic; he was attentive to all our needs and made sure our trip was smooth and enjoyable. The ambiance at the migration camp was genuine and welcoming, making our stay even more memorable. Thanks to our guide’s expertise and the warm atmosphere, we had an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!
