Perfect from start to finish

There are many safari agencies to choose from and we were very lucky to choose Steve Muinde and Ramja Safaris. Steve was professional from start to finish and we never had to wait long for answers to our questions. Information and itineries were sent to us with many options to choose from. We chose our itinerary and within a couple of days received a detailed description of our safari and the cost broken down to account for accommodation for one couple and one single occupancy. Any questions were answered immediately and the transfer of funds went very smoothly.
On the day we were to start our safari we were greeted by Sammy, our driver/guide for the week. What a pleasure it was spending our days with him. He knew every inch of the different parks we visited and where to spot the various animals and birds. Also, when he heard of a sighting from another guide he pulled out all the stops so we could be there.
I have no hesitation in recommending Ramja Safaris for a truly wonderful experience.

I was a bit skeptical before the trip, as there are so many safari agencies to choose from, but we definitely made the right decision with Ramaja Safaris! Everything was excellently organized, and Steve was available 24/7—always kind and helpful.

Our guide, Moses, was absolutely phenomenal. He perfectly understood our preferences and customized the tour to match our desires. Instead of another game drive on our last day—since we were already exhausted from chasing wildlife across the savanna—he surprised us with an unforgettable experience: a sunset picnic in the heart of the savanna.

It was the perfect ending to an already amazing adventure. I wholeheartedly recommend Ramaja Safaris to anyone looking for a well-organized, personalized, and truly magical safari experience!

Our group of five experienced an unforgettable journey through Kenya and Tanzania with Ramja Tours in October 2024. From the initial smooth and responsive pre-trip communication to the customized itinerary planning, everything exceeded our expectations. We were warmly welcomed at the airport by Steve and our professional guide Patrick, who ensured everything was meticulously prepared. Both Patrick in Kenya and Isaya in Tanzania demonstrated exceptional expertise, helping us spot the 'Big Five,' 'Ugly Five,' and sharing invaluable knowledge throughout our game drives. Their profound understanding of the ecosystem and wildlife made every moment educational and exciting. Ramja proved to be a trustworthy company that delivers not just a vacation, but a transformative African safari experience.

Beyond just a safari experience, we witnessed the delicate balance between wildlife conservation and human communities in these regions. The ongoing challenges between the Maasai people and lions remind us of the importance of sustainable tourism and conservation efforts. I encourage all future visitors to support initiatives that protect the magnificent Masai Mara ecosystem while respecting local communities.

Amazing trip of wild life & scenery and wonderful service

At first we did not have much expectation as we only planed for 2 days.... I mean what can you expect to see in a 2-days trip including almost 1 full day of travelling?

But It ended up with amazingly good memories! First the back & forth trip from & to Nairobi was full of the view & scenery and absolutely to your " fantasy" of AFRICA, and the Guide Steve helped us a lot on the picking up , as well as our driver Issack who had been trying to show us the good points of views with 100% of safety ; Secondly the hotel as well as the meals are on the top level, It was basically the best among all we had in Kenya! Least and also the most important is the Safari itself, the guide re-scheduled our tours which allows us to explore the park two full times: we got the Elephants, Lions, Flamingos，Zebras....and dozens of wild lives which out of my EN vocabulary😂；

All in all, 5 stars of recommend, especially you got limited time for the Safari Trip!

We booked a private tour with Ramja Safaris. They arrived very promptly at our accommodation to collect us and Steve also came to welcome us. Our guide, Patrick, was extremely knowledgable about all things Mara as well as offering us excellent extra information about Kenya that was really interesting. He was above and beyond in being welcome, friendly and made us feel right at home on the trip and in Kenya. Patrick was an excellent driver and knew all the spots, best ways to get photos if that's what we wanted, and accommodated the animals that we wanted to spend time seeing more of.

Ramja were very flexible with timings and how we arranged our different days, and booked us an incredible lodge to stay in. They are an incredibly experienced team and it really shows.

The whole experience was above and beyond what we could have hoped for, thank you Steve and Patrick and the whole Ramja team!
