Highly rewarding Kilimanjaro Trek with Popote!
My friend Maryanne and I did the 7-day Machame route in mid June of this year. It was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had, and Popote Africa is to thank for that. Our guides, Thadeus and Nelson, were knowledgeable, encouraging, attentive, and generally very fun to be around! This also goes for the rest of our group of porters as well. The food made by our chef was nutritious and very filling, and it served to us by Nico, who was so kind and diligent in his effort to make us comfortable and content. Our tents were of good quality, and our sleeping bags very warm and cozy for the cool nights. The private toilet was also a huge bonus. I feel so incredibly lucky to have had Popote as our team for this profound experience that I'll remember for the rest of my life!
Life changing Machame route
My friend Lisa and I completed our 7 day Machame trek mid-June 2024 with Popote and we highly recommended this company. Our trek was so fun and with the help of the guides Nelson and Thadeus, our cook Raf, server Niko, and the porters, we made it to the summit. The whole team were quick to help us in any way they could - during the daily hikes and while at camp. They cared for our wellbeing whilst also being playful, funny, and a joy to be around. The excellent support began before the trek with Cynthia who answered all questions and provided support before and after the trek. Even after we finished, the Popote team helped us around Moshi town getting organised for the rest of our time in Tanzania. The trek was the highlight of our Tanzania trip and one of the most challenging, rewarding, and moving experiences that we will always cherish. Thank you Popote team for the trek but more importantly for making us feel like friends and family.
Amazing Kilimanjaro trip!
An incredible 7-days on Kilimanjaro, Lemosho route. Our guides Godwin and John were fantastic, knowledgeable and encouraging! The whole team were great fun and always smiling. The food and tents were perfect. We could not recommend Popote enough, it was a trip to remember!

Amazing trip to Tanzania
This trip to Tanzania with Popote Adventures exceeded all my expectations.
Sobino helped with the itinerary and organized all the permits, accommodation and activities. We had a great vehicle, stayed at top lodges and had the best experience at the parks. We've seen all of the Big 5 and a lot more.
We had a great guide Michael who was patient and professional.

Very good experience to climb Mount Kilimanjaro!
Popote Africa did a great job starting from transfer from airport and finished with reaching summit of mount Kilimanjaro. During whole climb there was great support and positive attitude from guide, chef and porters. Couldn't ask for more. Totally recommend this company for everyone
