Trip of a Lifetime!
This trip was a 20th anniversary/bucket lis trip. From the time we landed in South Africa until we sadly had to depart, we were hosted
like no other country we've visited. Our travel agent, Dianne DuPlessis from Discover Africa, was amazing. We described the trip we were looking for and the type of accommodations and she completely nailed it. All of our accommodations were perfect. We meet so many wonderful host and guests at the different lodges. The food very delicious as was the water & cocktails:)
We were able to see the big 5, little 5, ugly 5, and many others. Our guides and trackers were the best at explaining the ecology of the African Savannah. We learned so much. We highly recommend Dianne and Discover Africa as well as the lodges we stayed at.

Exceptional organization and great experience!
We booked our honeymoon through Susan at Discover Africa and had a fabulous experience. The number of choices for lodges, activities, and places to go in southern Africa were overwhelming at first glance, and we found it really useful to have an experienced local talk us through some recommendations. They were very helpful and provided a range of options based on price and desired comfort level. In the end, we decided on going to South Africa, Zimbabwe (Vic Falls), and Botswana across a 2.5 week period. The organization of the tour was amazing, with Discover Africa providing a detailed itinerary and making all bookings ahead of time. We didn't ever need to worry about looking for taxis, which was particularly useful when arriving at the airport in a new country for the first time. Susan checked in with us via whatsapp every couple days to make sure that everything was going smoothly, and quickly responded to any of our questions. My wife and I agreed that one of the best things about doing the trip with Discover Africa was that they helped us book accomodation that was more intimate, which made the honeymoon really special. The safaris, the views, the food, and tours were all amazing - a small taste of southern Africa that has made us want to come back as soon as we can. Thanks to Susan and the team for a great trip!

Susan from Discover Africa arranged the perfect holiday for me in South Africa. She understood the balance I wanted exploring Cape Town and safari and the ensured as a solo traveler I had tours and transferred pre booked. I felt safe the whole time and loved all the accommodation and tours/ safari booked. Most of all Susan made me feel really well looked after, she was responsive when I had questions and contactable when some weather issues arose ensuring a plan B was available while luckily I didn’t need.
I highly recommend and hope to use Discover Africa again in the future.

Dev was able to accomodate exactly what we wanted to see in Botswana within our budget and we were so thrilled with the value for money we got. The lodges we stayed at were incredible! I would highly recommend connecting with Discover Africa to book your tour, they were able to accomodate changes to suit our itinerary, location requests and budget!

We had the most memorable safari trip with Discover Africa Safaris. Susan put together the perfect itinerary for our first family safari. Her choices were excellent. We loved both safari lodges and our accommodation in Cape Town was wonderful. Her recommendation for car rental in Cape Town was great as we were able to drive to Hout Bay, Boulders Beach and Cape Point easily. I would thoroughly recommend Susan to put together the perfect vacation!
