Very easy to work with.
Very easy to communicate with. Fast responses and quick to trouble shoot any issues. Great visuals on website and app for a clear description of the itinerary. Over all the trip ran very smoothly and lived up to expectations. Excellent value for money. The only downside is that most of the accomodation was booked a bit far from the national parks/ game reserves. Would have been better to be given an option between cheaper accoms vs convenience of location. I am more inclined to pay more and stay closer. However this was only an issue in Namibia with long driving distances and petrol stations being 30-60 mins away. All accomodations were otherwise great places to stay!
Excellent
I really appreciated Viatu’s approach to our trip and was very pleased with their service and flexibility throughout the planning process. We were a group of four traveling for a milestone trip to Namibia and South Africa and Viatu created a once in a lifetime experience for us at each spot along our trip. Their choice of great lodging and activities along the way made this a very special experience for us all. We had a diverse experience from the Namib desert to the Etosha/Ongave safaris to beautiful Cape Town and wine country. With Viatu, you understand that you get what you pay for and we appreciated that we were looking for a trip that took care of the thinking and decision making for us even before we arrived. We will use them again in the future.
Great Experience!
Viatu was such a good choice. They were recommended by a friend and I have already recommended them to a friend. They booked the most fabulous safari trip for me. Everything went as planned, from try drivers to the accommodations. The only thing that didn’t go the way I thought it would was it was even more fantastic than I could have imagined. Mardi and the others were so helpful. They responded quickly to my questions and continued to provide good information right up to my trip. I was given options that were in my budget, so didn’t have to keep coming back asking for something different. Almost like they knew exactly what I wanted when I didn’t even k ow myself. It was a trip of a lifetime and Viatu made it happen. Thanks so much,
Our best tour in thirty years of travel!
Communication with Mardi was excellent, she listened and heard us. When we had questions they were answered.
The value we received was beyond our expectations. All stays, tours, and safaris were spectacular. We were picked up and transported conveniently and comfortably with friendly and welcoming drivers.
Baleluni private reserve was able to feed us well, take us to see wildlife in their neck of the woods and to Kruger National park and the endangered species rehab center, and to provide lodging where we could see an elephant herd walk right by our balcony along the Oliphant river. Tsowa safari lodge is a five star experience with fabulous food, great tents and indoor and outdoor showers. We walked the island; boated the Zambezi twice seeing Hippos, crocodiles, and elephant; and went on game safaris that allowed us to see big game, including an 400+ herd of water buffalo, and birds galore. Cape Town, the peninsula, Table mountain, Stellenbosch, and Kirstenbosch gardens are not to be missed.
Very pleasant to deal with
Overall was very good. A bit of confusion about a few things at the accommodation we stayed at that they booked for us as part of a package, but I think this was probably related to the fact that the resort was new and a bit disorganized. I would book with Viatu again for sure. Well done.
