Experience of a lifetime
While I was researching for Safari in Tanzania, Serengeti Wakanda tours was a name that popped in multiple bloggers recommendation. I also saw good reviews. I emailed multiple companies. What initially attracted me was their prompt response. Aishwarya from Serengeti Wakanda was very patient enough to work with us to get the best experience that fits our budget. She Made sure we get the best experience for a lifetime. The guide Basheer was extremely knowledgeful and resourceful and thanks to him we were able to spot a wide variety of wildlife including all big five. I strongly recommend them

Unforgettable days
A great experience with an awesome guide. The icing on the cake (feench expressions) is that he speaks French really well. The decor is amazong but it is nature and seeing lions and rhinoceroses cannot be certified and Ztefa gave everything for that. A big thank you for these two unforgettable days
Professional, excellent communication, attention to detail, very well organised. Safari specialists!
Great vehicle, great guide, Godson, with incredible breadth and depth of knowledge from the big five right down to the huge variety of birds. Luxury safari at a competitive price. Trustworthy small to medium operators so good vehicles and guides and attention that makes it all the more special

7 days Wakanda couple Safari
My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a unique experience for our honeymoon: a safari in Tanzania!
After getting about 20 quotes, we found a good value for money with Wakanda.
With Beatrice's help, we were able to arrange all activities according to our needs, including transportation to and from Kilimanjaro airport.
In Arusha we found Zepha waiting for us, our guide who joined us for all seven days Safari.
We had a very good time with him, an experienced guide with more than 10 years of experience, and Italian speaker.
Zepha helped make the experience unique and unforgettable, explaining interesting facts about the animals, taking us to the boundless trails of Tarangire, Serengeti, Ndutu, and Ngorongoro national parks, and reaching out to other guides to show us all the animals on our wish list.
We appreciated Zepha's attention to detail, such as cleaning the car inside and out every time it got dirty from dust and mud and choosing viable routes based on how muddy the roads were.
We also appreciated the Wakanda logo gifts given to us upon arrival.
Other positive notes were the wi-fi available in the car, drinks always available, and lunch with cooked food (not the classic lunch box).
10/10 experience!
Even though there was no good weather, having just one day of sunshine, we were able to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, and so many other animals!
ASANTE SANA!

The Perfect Trip!
—Summary—
The Safari = 5 stars (thanks to our amazing guide, Bashiri!)
Booking, food & accommodation = 5 stars (thanks to Ushma and all of the lodging staff!)
Value = 5 stars
—Why Wakanda—
1) Value for money - If you are considering more expensive, seemingly more luxurious options: rest assured you will not be missing out on any luxuries by choosing Wakanda. If you are considering a cheaper option - spend the extra few dollars to ensure you leave Tanzania having had the best trip of your life.
2) Guide - your safari guide will be central to everything you experience while on the safari and having a good guide is the difference between seeing 5 lions vs 50 lions, sharing fun anecdotes vs sitting in awkward silence, feeling comfortable and welcome vs feeling anxious, etc. With Serengeti Wakanda, you will have an excellent guide.
3) Booking process - the sample itineraries are fantastic starting points, but you will want to be closely involved in choosing the final version. Doing so requires helpful and communicative staff who are happy to answer questions and tweak your itinerary until you think it’s ready - with Wakanda, you will certainly have this.
-Details-
—Booking—
Ushma was very helpful and patient in helping us customize the itinerary and was always quick to respond to any questions we had leading up to the trip. We received our first itinerary/quote right away and after a couple weeks of emailing and maybe 6 or so different itineraries, we settled on something that felt perfect.
—Our Guide—
From the start, Bashiri was friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable, teaching us about the local history and culture as we drove from Arusha to Tarangire. It seems obvious now, but having never done a safari, I did not fully appreciate how crucial your guide is in shaping your experience - choosing the right unmarked paths to wander down in the parks, spotting animals that you would never notice on your own, teaching you about the animals and landscape, and just generally making you feel welcome and comfortable in a new place. In all of these regards and more, we could not have asked for a better guide than Bashiri.
The other guides we met from Wakanda at the lodges and lunch sites all seemed great as well - Mandela was always very kind and seemed to have a great sense of humor.
—The Safari—
Our route, over 6 days: Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti, Ndutu, Ngorongoro Crater.
By the end, we had seen all of the famous big 5 and so much more. And we saw them all so up close, within a couple of meters! Except for the notoriously shy rhinos of Ngorongoro Crater, who we watched from a distance through our binoculars.
Each of the parks was unique and had something the others didn’t, be it the landscape or a certain species of animals. For me, nothing tops the beauty of the endless Serengeti plains, though - Bashiri took us to a remote part of the park where you could look in every direction and scarcely see another jeep roaming around. There, we came across a massive herd of zebras and got to watch them perform their “dust baths”, shortly followed by a close encounter with a solo male elephant.
—The Accommodation (and food)—
Each night was really good and 6/8 nights were what I would classify as luxurious by any standard. The other 2 nights were certainly luxurious by ‘camping’ standards - I highly recommend staying in the migration camps for a night or two, where it feels like you’re really in the wild and can hear lions roaring at night, which was admittedly a terrifying experience at the time but is now a great memory.
Special shoutout to the Signature Serengeti luxury ‘campsite’ - the staff were remarkably friendly and fun, the room we had was the nicest room i’ve ever had anywhere, and it is located right in the middle of one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.
Food: i have never eaten so well in my life over the course of a week.
