Excellent, efficient, supportive

From our first contact to our return home, our booking agent & tour coordinator, James Kilorit, was super responsive, informative, caring in his communication and guidance. From our booking to his checking in about how our experiences were coming along to our arrival home, James treated us like family in his attentiveness.
James connected us with a driver, Willy Musau, who picked us up at our hotel promptly. Over the 5 days he was with us Willy was a top gun driver. We covered a lot of territory and he was well connected with all the other drivers - who clearly respected and enjoyed him - receiving input by phone and shortwave about where various animals could be found and tracked them. He was determined to expose us to as many species as possible. He was knowledgeable about the animals including some of the specific individual animals on various reserves.
Entim at Masai Mara was a mind blowing wonderful experience, we met some of the kindest people we came to know among the Masai there and at the Serena at Amboseli.
Sorry, this is becoming an essay. In short, beautiful country, people, experiences. Go with an open heart, surrender to serendipity. We loved our experience so much and Splendid Vacations delivered beyond our hopes

We first contacted several companies and the offer of Splendid was the best. Their website and presentation were the best we saw. We then booked with them. After booking, we realized we (on our side) made a small mistake and we had an extra day. But Splendid was very accommodating and made new arrangements for us. Before they gave us several options and together we decided on the best one.

Before arrival they asked us for our flight information to meet us on time. We were then met by James and John. John was our driver and tour guide for the whole trip and he was just amazing. He made sure that we see as many animals as possible during the safari. He knew all the places where animals were staying. He always answered all of our questions. John was always friendly and we had good laughs. The hotels that were selected by Splendid were very, very good. We stayed in four different hotels and all of them were amazing.
We would definitely recommend Splendid to anyone who wants to have a fantastic safari experience!

Our 8 day safari was well planned and we enjoyed every second of it! Our driver Alex did a great job, he always knew where the animals were and tried to get our vehicle in the best position for a nice view!

This journey was truly remarkable, marking the inaugural voyage for myself and three companions onto the African continent and into the heart of a safari experience that etched itself deeply into our memories. A member of our party discovered this esteemed travel agency via Safaribooking, and swayed by the glowing testimonials, we elected to embark with Splendid. During the planning stages, Alice demonstrated exceptional dedication, assisting us with a detailed and thoughtful approach to crafting our travel schedule, making numerous alterations to our route and accommodations to suit our preferences. Our arrival in Nairobi on the 25th of January was met with joy, and we were delighted to encounter the endearing Alice in person. James, whose grin was as captivating as the landscapes, initiated our safari odyssey. The hours we spent traversing the terrain in our vehicle were far from tedious, thanks to James's unwavering patience and his adept use of the radio to track and lead us to a diverse array of wildlife, ensuring our expedition was devoid of disappointment. The itinerary set forth by Splendid Travel Agency was a harmonious blend of exploration and relaxation, and the lodgings selected were nothing short of extraordinary, contributing to an experience that will linger in our hearts forever.

Very high value for the money spent. The coordinator was fantastic and clear on the itinerary. The driver was very professional and had tons of experience to look for animals.
Overall, I really enjoyed the tour with them.
