3-Day Safari

We booked a 3-day Safari with Gems of Africa. It was our first Safari and we are now determined to go back. The communication was easy and very accurate. They always responded within a few hours, all their answers were detailed, accurate and easy to follow. They provided multiple options to chose from and their service (especially Mr. Mpho Thulo) was GREAT. We ended adding a driver service to and from the reserve and that ended as a great service as well.
The Safari we reserved (Mont Eco Game Reserve) EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS by far and was a great value for our money. The place is amazing, the service was excellent, the wildlife was a dream come true. We were promised the Big 5 and we got much more from very very close. Everyone we met at the reserve was delighted.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and Gems made it all happen. They are highly reliable, pay attention to the small details and very responsive. We could not have asked for more.

We used this company to book a small safari tour from Capetown to Aquila Safari park we stayed 2 nights it was a very good way to get a taste of a safari and Gems of Africa looked after extremely well Everything was seamless and well organised I would not hesitate to recommend and use them again

Having biked the tour in the uk we were extremely pleased with overall experience. Our driver (Chris) was reliable, attentive and very knowledgeable. The route was long but we had plenty of stops and information regularly shared by Chris helped the time pass quickly. He was also flexible and adjusted the route at times to take into account the desires of the passengers.

I had very high expectations of this trip and these were exceeded. From the time of our pick up from our hotel in Cape Town to being dropped back the next day, this was truly a trip of a lifetime. The accommodation was magnificent, the welcome genuine, the staff so friendly and knowledgeable. A welcoming drink was offered that allowed newly arrived guests to meet and chat informally. The food provided was of excellent quality and abundant. The tours were timed to allow guests relax first and then see the wildlife of which there was so much to see. I cannot believe the variety of wildlife we saw and how close we got to the animals. The evening tour was punctuated by a stop for sundowners where all guests could mingle informally again. That night the sky was perfect for our stargazing tour, provided by such knowledgeable guides. An early start the next day meant that we saw the wildlife getting ready to start their day, it was so natural. This trip oozed class and quality; I cannot recommend it more highly.
