Fantastic place for a safari, with a frindly guide!
4/5

We have been on a 6 days, 5 nights safari and saw all the animals we wished for! We booked our safari months in advance. The initial communication was fast and smooth. After the first payment is was a bit difficult to get a confirmation. All in all the communication before the safari was ok, but it was not always fast and clear.

About our guide I can only be very positive: Bonny was professional, helpful and listened to our wishes, even when we didn't explicitly told him. Two friends of ours decided to join our safari and were avid bird-watchers. Bonny catered to their wishes as well. The driving he did was solid and safe.

About the car: it brought us everywhere, but compared to most of the other vehicles around us this seemed to be an older model. Apart from a cracked windhield and a window that could be barely opened, it was also not possible to use the charging stations in the car itsself. The armrests were not functioning at its best as well. So for the four of us (reasonable fit people in their thirties) these were not big issues.
I have material for comparison since the other couple did another safari in the South right after this and also my parents were on a safari a week later. It's best to ask questions about the vehicle beforehand.

About the lodges: most of them were good. The Kankari lodge on the first day stood out, this was luxureous. The same goes for the Ngorongoro forest tented lodge. The Tukaone Serengeti Camps has two campsites, our guide told us that in the park you get assigned a place. What we did not like was that we had to wait an hour at the entrance of the Serengeti because something was wrong with our permit. It was all resolved, but when you pay this amount of money you expect this to be arranged accordingly. We missed an opportunity for a sunset because of it. The octagon Lodge was our least favorite, it didn't live up to our expectations considering the first two lodges.

All in all we've had a great time in all the national parks, and I would totally reccomend doing a 6 day safari! And if you decide to go with Migration Venture Africa it will be a delight to go with Bonny!

Great experience in Tanzania
5/5

It was a great experience, one of the best in our lifes so far :-)

All the hotels during the Safary days were excellent.

The attention and response from Amos even by email was usually real time.

Our guide Peter was an easy going person, always willing to respond our questions and interested on looking for animals, while respectful on their space.

Just a sugestion, think for a way how the food is not cold.

For the rest, only good things to Say. Thanks Migration team and Peter

Phenomenal Support
5/5

The migration Adventure team we had on our 6 days Machame trek were phenomenal! They took great care of me and my wife and ensured that we were safe, secure, comfortable and actually enjoyed the trek.
Every aspect of the trek was thoroughly done, but flowed seamlessly from the airport pickup, the committed crew of guides Epa and Jonathan who were with us through out. The porters also did an awesome job of ferrying the bags of supplies and camping gear. They were patient, caring and friendly as they guided us along the course that they knew well from the numerous runs they have completed over time. When the going got tough they kept on encouraging us and did not let us give up. Their support and our determination are the key reasons that we successfully made it to the summit.
Along the trip we enjoyed some of the most beautiful outdoor views that I have ever seen, including an amazing sunrise from Uhuru Peak. The overall experience was awesome and given another chance I would not change anything about it

Al good. Very few nice days visiting Tarangire Ngorongoro and lake Manyara. Very pleasant company by tour guide Joseph.

Great Tour, Great Guide, Great Experience, Amazing Accomodation.
5/5

We did a 3 day safari around Tanzania with Migration Venture Africa (MVA) in Jan '25. We were originally a bit nervous about the number of moving parts present in the safari however, we needn't have been.
Communication from MVA (via Amos) via email was prompt and always answered our questions. We were picked up from the airport by our guide, Josef, and went straight into our first day of safari.

Josef was brilliant on safari, he answered all our questions and seemed to have a sixth sense for finding a great viewing spot, even when it got relatively crowded. He also gave some interesting insights into local culture and what 'normal' Tanzanian life is like, which we really appreciated.

Josef would explain the plan for the next day as he dropped us off at our lodge and he was always ready and waiting for us (even though we were bang on with our timings).

In terms of Value for Money the tour price felt exactly right, especially given the invredible quality of our accommodation and number of parks we visited.
As Brits, we dislike the tipping culture. Although we understand that it's more common in other cultures, we would have preferred if the guides were paid fairly and the costs of this built into the upfront booking fee, perhaps add a digital service charge to the booking, avoiding the 'hidden cost' feeling.

All in all we'd thoroughly recommend Migration Venture Africa for anyone who wants to explore any of the national parks.
