Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris Ltd. is a Tanzanian registered Company and licensed tour operator with offices in Arusha, Tanzania. It is jointly owned and operated by Geofrey .E. Nassari resident of Tanzania. We began operations in July, 2013. We offer all types of safaris: traditional driving safaris to all Tanzania National Parks, mountain climbing expeditions, trekking and walking safaris, and beach holidays.

Professional service, reliable travel, especially our guide Floridi has rich experience, eagle-like eyes to help us find many animals, very happy, an unforgettable trip.

First time on a safari and it was beyond anything we expected thanks for the staff at Meru. Kelvin helped coordinate the safari and was super accommodating to our early arrival and making sure the driver was there on time and our room was ready when we got to the hotel. Our driver Mohamed was fantastic, best Safari guide!! He has lots of knowledge about the animals, parks, tribes and great stories overall.
Our chef was amazing, the food was tasty everyday.
Overall an amazing experience, we are grateful for everyone at meru for their hospitality and kindness.

Dropped off at our hotel by Jerome and Nixon at Meru Slopes a couple of hours ago after the most INCREDIBLE few days.

From my first interaction with the company everything was prompt, personable and professional. Jerome was so helpful answering any questions and organising all of our different pick ups and drop offs seamlessly. Thank you also to Victor who picked us up from Kili airport and gave us all of the information on Tanzania as we passed through.

We were guided by Jacob who was just great. Knew absolutely everything there was to know about all of the parks and all of the wildlife. He made the whole thing run so smoothly and made sure we saw everything there was to see. The big five, the ‘ugly’ five. All of it. Thank you, Jacob.

And Bongey who cooked the tastiest food for us three times a day. So good.

What an adventure.

这次六天五夜的Safari坦桑尼亚之旅非常完美，旅行社的服务超出了我们的预期！在前期咨询期间就非常耐心迅速详细的回答我们的疑问。Selima厨师的饭菜很好吃，很符合中国人胃；Naul导游（我不确定是不是这样拼写）特别专业，对动物讲解详细，还带我们很近的狮子一家，猎豹还跳上了我们车。此外，整个行程的价格非常nice，旅行社老板太好了，还提供了很多免费的啤酒，离开的时候还给了文化衫，这家公司企业文化真的让人很暖心！感谢旅行社的用心安排，让我们度过了一段美好的旅程！
This six-day, five-night safari trip to Tanzania was perfect, and the travel agency's service exceeded our expectations! They were patient, answered our questions quickly and in detail during the pre-consultation period. Chef Selima's food was delicious and very suitable for the Chinese palate; tour guide Naul (I'm not sure if that's how to spell it) was very professional, explained the animals in detail, and even took us very close to a family of lions and a cheetah that jumped onto our car. In addition, the price of the entire trip was very nice, and the owner of the travel agency was very kind and provided a lot of free beer. When we left, he even gave us a T-shirt. The company culture of this company is really heartwarming! Thank you for the travel agency's thoughtful arrangements, which made our trip wonderful!

A once in a lifetime experience

There are not enough positive words to explain our trip with Meru Slopes. Everything was seamless. From initially booking the trip, they answered any questions/queries we had extremely promptly. It was our first time on a safari so we had a few questions, however, we were put at ease and made to feel like family straight away. We landed at Arusha and our driver was there promptly and showed us Arusha’s history on route to our first stop. All of the accommodations selected were amazing - very friendly staff and excellent food choices all over. Tanzanian locals are extremely helpful and nothing was ‘too small for them’.
And for the main highlight - our safari driver, Asantaeli. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. Every day he greeted us with a smile and his friendly personality. He made every game drive memorable and provided extra information into the history of the land and animals and made sure we saw all the amazing and wonder sites Tanzania had to offer. We were very lucky in our drives to see everything we could have imagined (and most animals at very very close range). The communication between the drivers meant that we were able to get good sightings of animal such as lions, cheetahs and even Rhinos!
We couldn’t recommend Asantaeli and the rest of the team at Meru slopes more and will recommend to everyone we know. Thank you so much and we cannot wait to return!
