Nassari resident of Tanzania. We began operations in July, 2013. We offer all types of safaris: traditional driving safaris to all Tanzania National Parks, mountain climbing expeditions, trekking and walking safaris, and beach holidays.

Dream Safari 2024

We were in 5 days safari with Meru Slopes. They are super helpful and reliable, we didn’t have to worry about anything during our adventure. Our contact was Gift. He helped us with all the arrangements and immediately answered all the questions we have had. We felt very taken care of 😊
We are especially happy about having Nuru as a guide. He spotted every animal on the way that nobody else could. We saw all the big 5 🫶🏻 He has a lot of knowledge and told us a lot of interesting stories ( his English is really great). He is also a really skilled driver and super nice person.
A big shout out to our cook Yohane as well. He stayed with us all that time and prepared us delicious local breakfast, lunches and dinners. We even had everyday at lunchtime fresh baked bread made by him! And he taught us some Swahili :) we absolutely recommend them - there is no better choice. Thank you guys for an amazing experience and a lot of fun and laugh 😊 Asante sana !

Our safari with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris was truly exceptional! From the start, they organized every detail perfectly. A huge thank you to Andrew, our guide and driver, whose 24 years of experience showed in every aspect of the safari. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife, patient with our endless questions, and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. Dula, our cook, deserves special praise as well—his meals were delicious, like something from a highly-rated restaurant, prepared with on-the-go resources in the wild. I can’t recommend Meru Slopes enough for anyone seeking a well-organized, personalized safari with a fantastic team. Thank you, Andrew and Dula, for making this adventure unforgettable!

We had an amazing trip with Meru Slopes.

From the moment we arrived in Tanzania, Meru Slopes took care of us. Nixon was the driver from the airport, and made us feel welcome in the country. He took us to a small lake which was very beautiful and gave us a taste of what was in store for the next few days. Later that day, we met Almacheus, who went through the trip planned for us in detail. We got a good brief about the trip, before it all started the following day. The trip was carried out as planned, where we had unforgettable experiences. We encountered some challenges on the way, but these were handled in an exemplary manner by pleasant and professional guides.

Our guide was Robert. A very skilled driver with good experience. He is a pleasant person who contributed to a good atmosphere throughout the stay. Joining the team was chef Gidion, who prepared very good food. The food was always served with a smile. Gidion is also a great person.

Our stay in Tanzania was fantastic and we would recommend Meru Slopes to everyone.

I just came back from Tanzania and booked Kilimanjaro climb and 6 days safari in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater.

What can i say? WOW!!

This tour company delivered everything i expected. The organisation was on point, all the guides and staff were very profesional and friendly. They made everything they could to deliver the best trip of my life.

We had an amazing experience on our safari trip with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris—it was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. From the planning stage, my point of contact was Gift, who was incredibly helpful and always available to answer any questions, often responding within 24 hours. I ended up modifying our plan about 9 times, and each time, Gift was patient, accommodating, and ready to assist. I really appreciated the upfront pricing—Gift proposed a fair price from the start, unlike some agencies that start high and expect negotiation. This honesty and transparency meant a lot to us.

During the trip, everything exceeded our expectations. We got to see the Big Five, which was a highlight, and our driver-guide went above and beyond to meet our needs. He adapted the tour to help us spot specific animals, communicating with other drivers and finding the best viewing spots for photos. He also shared interesting insights about the animals, which made the experience even more memorable.

Overall, I highly recommend Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris. Thanks to their dedication and expertise, our safari was unforgettable!
