Wild Wings know the business and deliver on all fronts
At long last we are home. We have enjoyed an amazing time. The absolute highlight for Coral and me was our incredible time in the Kruger National Park. It was, no doubt, a life changing experience. Every aspect of the holiday was exceptional. Your company's help, organisation and communication was so reassuring. Thank you for your clear contacts and kind words. The moment we met Rufus we knew we were lucky to be paired with such a gem. Every day was an adventure. He brought us within touching distance of so many beautiful creatures. He achieved his goal of showing us the 'Big Five' more than once. So many times we were in awe of the majestic elephants, the powerful lions, the illusive leopards, the thunderous rhinos and the herds of buffalo. Our personal favourites were the graceful giraffes and a family of hyenas. We even came to an emergency stop to avoid a python crossing the road. Rufus's ability to guide us was almost surpassed by his culinary skills. We had some marvellous breakfasts and delicious evening meals. I cannot emphasise enough how much we both enjoyed our safari experience. Again our sincere appreciation for organising such a wonderful holiday.

Memorible Africa
This is my second incredible trip created by Wild Wings Safaris. July 2023 Wild Wings Safaris introduced me to Kruger National Park in South Africa, see my previous review. This year I decided I wanted to do a mountain gorilla trek and a safari in Botswana. Without hesitation I contacted Wild Wings Safaris. Rwanda was recommended for the Gorilla Trek in Volcanoes National Park, with a stay at Bishops House. Then for Botswana the Deception Valley Private Reserve, the Khwai Community Area Sango Safari Camp and the Chobe River with a recommended Victoria Falls Zimbabwe add on. The Gorilla trek was thrilling standing feet away from a gorilla family going about its daily business. The Botswana Safari highlights had lions every day, elusive leopard sightings, rare wild dogs and a heard of elephants crossing the Chobe River. The guides at each camp were experienced and knowledgeable. The camps were 1st class, clean comfortable and professionally run. Excellent meals were prepared. Wild Wings provides adequate information and pictures on all accommodations. I am glad Victoria Falls was recommended. The entire itinerary is provided in a phone app for easy reference. I travel a lot and have learned that certain trips have so many moving parts that depending on an expert is essential to have a rewarding experience. Wild Wings Safaris has the expertise and knowledge to put those parts together having already vetted and worked with the local vendors. A shout out to Tanja my travel coordinator. Mack Air was the efficient local charter airline used. I plan on experiencing the Great Migration and Wild Wings Safaris will be my first call. Excellent customer service.Highly recommend.

Rufus was AMAZING - went above and beyond to make our safari unforgettable!
Clare was an absolute pleasure to work with when planning our trip to South Africa. She took the time to understand our travel preferences, and put together multiple different versions of the trip after we flip flopped plans on her several times. Each customized plan was exactly what we asked for, and she was so patient and accommodating with our changes and tweaks. Once the plan was finalized, Clare was very communicative and gave us clear next steps and clear expectations for the trip which was exactly what we needed to feel comfortable in their hands. As for the trip itself, everything Wild Wings Safaris put together was executed to perfection. The three day safari in Kruger was outstanding - I cannot sing Rufus' praises enough. He went so far out of his way and used his incredible knowledge of the park and animals to make sure we had the experience of a lifetime. We saw all big 5, wild dogs, and learned so much with Rufus. He was so much fun to spend time with and the dinners were some of the best meals we had on the trip! On top of the Safari, every other element of our trip was taken care of expertly. Not a single hiccup the entire time with the logistics and the pieces that we relied on Wild Wings to handle. I would use their services again 1000% and highly recommend Wild Wings for anyone planning a trip to the many places and experiences they service. Many thanks again to the entire team for making our trip spectacular!
Highly professional and reliable tour company
This was the fifth trip to South Africa that WildWings Safaris have planned for us and was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.
We decided to concentrate on game watching in the Greater Kruger area and used Clare again to plan the detail. She’s attentive, prompt, thorough…and patient with us, helping us to choose two family run camps,- Motswari in Timbavati and Nottens in Sabi Sands. They were both perfect for our needs. We had lots of wonderful sightings, great food and exceptionally friendly service.
The transport arrangements made by Clare ( internal flights from Johannesburg and private taxi transfers between camps) were seamless and made the logistics of the travel comfortable. These were very affordable by the way!
Back home less than two days and we’ve already asked Clare to put together our next trip to South Africa.

Awesome Safari Adventure
Can’t say enough about Wild Wings Safaris and the trip they put together for all 11 of us. I contacted 5 other safari companies and not one came close to the professionalism and responsiveness of Wild Wings. And the itinerary developed and the lodging quoted, we knew we made the right choice.
And looking back on the trip, we had no issues or glitches along the way. And I can’t speak more highly of the lodging our Tour Consultant, Tanja, set up. The people working at these places were exceptional. And a shout out to Baobab Ridge Private Lodge near Kruger. A truly hidden gem!
I could go on and on, but let’s just say, thanks to Wild Wings, what a trip of a lifetime we had.
