Best experience ever
Our experience with Meektrails Safari was extraordinary, creating unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime. From the very beginning, their team showed immense kindness and support, making us feel surrounded by wonderful people from the initial trip planning at home to our arrival in the stunning landscapes of Kenya.
Pauline, our main contact at Meektrails Safari, and James, our guide, were exceptional throughout. They were not only incredibly accommodating but also warm and attentive to all our needs. Meektrails Safari truly embodies outstanding customer service. The organization of our 7-day safari was flawless, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the adventure.
James, with his passion and enthusiasm, made the trip even more special. We instantly connected with him, and thanks to his expertise and dedication, we were able to see every animal and visit every location we had dreamed of, all while enjoying every moment together, from early mornings to late evenings.

Valentine was very clear in our communications and supported in any adjustments we requested. She also managed to upgrade one of our hotels at no extra cost to us, which allowed us to see the Masai Mara from our bedroom and while having breakfast and dinner
Lucas (our guide) was fantastic. Not only did he do his job professionally, he also supported us on any other issues and requests we had. He clearly knows his way around the parks and we were able to see all big 5 with him (and many more!). We are truly thankful for having him us our guide and hope that this message reaches him.

Well curated with solid lodging and even better game drives; great experience
This was my second experience with Meektrails as a safari outfit. Being our second trip, we wanted to add a bit of variety over the prior trip and opted for a 10 day safari going from Samburu, to Ol Pejeta, to Masai Mara and finishing up the trip with a stop in Naivasha and Amboseli.
Each location was fantastic with incredibly friendly staff and accommodations, but ultimately it was all about the game drives and opportunities for wildlife viewings and that's where our guide/driver came in.
We had James for both of our trips and the guy has proven to be an absolute legend each time. He was happy to accommodate our schedules (as a wildlife photographer, I wanted a few earlier mornings to catch the sunrise/golden hour) and his ability to find and spot wildlife was unmatched. I left this trip with some of the best photos I've ever taken and it wouldn't have been possible without his skills both behind the wheel and what he was able to spot and see.

The only room for improvement I would say for Meektrails would be in communications leading up to the tour date. Just a quick check-in message or email to notify and confirm arrivals, etc as well as an updated or current copy of the itinerary would go a long way to reassure and stoke excitement/anticipation in clients .
Sammie is the Man!
We were fortunate to have Sammie as our guide for just over a week. The man is a machine! He was always friendly, welcoming, punctual, kind and was a master on the Nairobi and Massai roads (some of which are insane).
Want to see lots of animals? Check. Want someone who knows the roads inside and out? He's your man. Animals mating every 5 minutes? Yep, saw that too.
Sammie takes a great deal of pride in himself and his guiding. He was funny, a wealth of knowledge, somewhat of a celebrity amongst his peers and without doubt made our safari spectacular.
Amazing 7 day safari to Kenya!
We had an amazing time on our safari in Kenya. Our guide, Anthony, was brilliant and became part of our family for the week. He was so knowledgeable about all of the animals and was able to answer our many questions! We felt really safe and well looked after throughout the trip. All of the accommodation was fantastic and the staff at each of our lodges were so kind and helpful. The combination of game drives, walks, boat trips and biking was perfect. We got to see the Big 5 and everything else we wanted to see. One of the highlights was seeing a leopard and her two cubs. The whole trip exceeded our expectations and we made some amazing memories that will last forever. Anthony really made it so special for us, we couldn't have asked for more!
Thanks to Daniel and William who met us at our hotel and for helping us to plan our adventure. Thanks also to Lucas who took us out for the day after our safari was over to visit the Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe Centre.
I would 100% recommend Meektrails and would book through them again without a doubt.
