We finished yesterday our safari with you and we had to thank you so much. It was an incredible beautiful and unique experience. The nature was awesome and the people that guiding us, were very special. Robert knows everything about the animals and area and you can feel his passion for the nature and animals. He also spottet them realy fast. He always knows an answer to our questions and was in every moment of our trip friendly, professional and had an open ear to our wishes. We can highly recommend him.
Johana our cook made great different meals (and always more than enought) and spreads good vibes.. this was very nice, we also recommend him..
The booking proces with your office was simple easy and efficient, i appreciate that very much. You all do a great job!

Meru Slopes Tours exceeded our expectations, I can recommend this company with a calm heart!
I guess, like everybody else, we were slightly sceptic and worried, but from the very beginning until the very end we felt in good hands. The communication with Almachius was excellent - he is very responsive, quick to react, adapt and adjust the program according to our individual needs. Not to forget his extreme patience answering all our questions and positivity! 😊 Amazing service! 🙌
Our greeting in the airport in the middle of the night was very smooth, we were safely accompanied to the hotel door and overall every second it felt structured and well organized throughout the whole trip. They have a lot of experience!
Lobulu was the best driver for our private tour with so many individual requests, we managed to spot even rear animals - he was very proffesional, attentive and with an excellent mood! Hakuna matata! 😁
Sleeping arrangements in budget camping were very well organized, sleeping bags clean and matresses were surprisingly comfy! Be prepared for colder night in Simba camping (near Ngorongoro), it's in the higher altitude, bring warm clothes. Don't expect hot shower in the budget camping option and you'll be fine! ☺️
Our chef is worth separate mention - the food during the Safari was better than in two different restaurants that we've tried in Arusha! It's simple, freshly made, tasty, creative! No stomach problems, only happy bellies 😊

5 Star Safari!! From start to finish, all aspects of Meru Slopes was excellent. Gift Tembo was very responsive & timely in all our planning & payment communications. He even came to our final hotel in Arusha to hear first hand from us our experience & review. He asked for ways to improve as well. Since we were 100% satisfied, we could not offer any improvements.

Our safari guide & driver, Douglas, is an amazing guide with many years of experience in Tanzanian wildlife & parks. He is an exceptionally safe driver - we always felt comfortable & confident in the Land Cruiser. Every morning we found the truck to be clean & well serviced - so important on those rough, dusty roads of the parks.

We loved hearing his stories about the wildlife & Tanzanian culture - he was able to answer every question, providing a rich & informative experience. We especially loved that he shared his personal stories about his life & family - it made us feel that he trusted us too. He has the most wonderful smile & cheerful attitude. He worked so hard all day with only our interests in mind. We felt his joy as he experienced our's. Also - he is very friendly & we could see the friendship he shared with the other guides. This was important for us as the guides are thus willing to share the location of wildlife in the parks.

Douglas is an incredible guide, so amazing to just watch how he approached the wildlife. He knows the wildlife behavior so well that we watched in awe as he positioned the truck in just the right spot for us to get an up close view. With his years of experience he knows the park habitats so well he could anticipate what we would find. He would gently change the position of the truck to give us ample viewing & photo time.

Though we were not expecting to go to the northern Serengeti, Meru Slopes offered to change our itinerary because the tail end of the Great Migration was still active. The change gave us the opportunity to see the incredible behavior of the zebra & wildebeest as they nervously approached various Mara River shore options. Douglas was patient yet responsive to changing our location as the herds changed their's.

All of our lodging & meals exceeded our expectations. We had fabulous service, comfortable rooms, and healthy tasty meals.

This was the first safari for my husband & it was a special delight for me to see how thrilled he was with the safari. I've been on many safaris and was equally thrilled.

We have a dream safari experiences with Meru Slopes. Everything as good as one can expect, and truly dream come truth. Jerome manage our booking perfectly and do everything he could to resolve and book everything for us. Fidelis did an incredible tour around Arusha, doing everything we ask for.

Regarding the Safari itself it was one of the best experiences we ever had. Robert, our driver, is probably the best safari driver in Tanzania, he knew exactly where and when to be to see everything that is was there to be seen. And Dula, our cooker, cooked delicious meals every day. Always having hot and delicious food wherever we go.

I couldn't recommended enough, it was just perfect

We booked the 4-day Mara River Crossing safari and it was an experience of a lifetime! Meru Slopes went above and beyond to ensure we had the time of our lives, exceeding all our expectations. From our first contact, we felt we were in good hands. Jerome, our consultant, was informative and responsive, addressing all our queries promptly. Our guide, Mohamed, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor and an impressive ability to spot animals from hundreds of meters away! Thanks to him, we saw nearly every wildlife in the Serengeti, which I believe wouldn’t have been possible without his expertise. The accommodations were also outstanding and comfortable, enhancing our overall experience. We highly recommend Meru Slopes for an unforgettable safari adventure!
