Great quality-price ratio
I highly recommend Meektrails Safaris company for safari arrangements in Kenya. In February 2025 we had a 6-day safari in 5 different parks - Amboseli, Naivasha, Hell's Gate, Nakuru and Masai Mara. Each park had its own atmosphere. The most beautiful in my opinion were Amboseli and Nakuru. The organization of the trip was at a good level. There were a few under-performing issues between our guide and customer service, but everything was explained and fixed by the company. We had a brilliant guide named Philip. He imparted a lot of knowledge to us and was funny and helpful. We felt very safe with him. The hotels that were chosen by the company were really of a high standard - some 4-starred. The food in the hotels was always very tasty and plentiful. Only the lunch boxes, which we happened to eat twice, were quite poor. The overall rating is 5/5.

A Perfectly Organized Trip – Highly Recommend!
I recently traveled with Meektrail Safari, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the very beginning, Valentine was incredibly helpful in planning and organizing every detail of our trip. She was always swift to answer our questions and ensured that everything was very well arranged.
During our journey, we were accompanied by Ben, who was knowledgeable, professional, experienced, and friendly. He not only knew where the animals were, but also could put us in the best position to see them. His stories about the animals and the Kenya culture made the experience even more enjoyable. He went beyond to make sure we had a memorable trip.
From the accommodations to the activities, all exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Meektrail Safari to anyone looking for a well-organized and unforgettable safari experience.
Thank you again to Meektrail and Ben for making this trip so unique. I will definitely be booking with you again in the future!

Safari Trip in Kenya
I can’t even begin to explain the amazing experience we had with Meektrails! From booking to the end of the safari, everything was taken care of. They were accommodating, responsive and overall such a kind group of people! We had the best private tour with them and our guide was Gideon. Gideon was so patient, kind and knowledgeable! He made sure we got our photography shots!! There is nothing to worry about during our safari adventure because all things were taken care of. We visited Amboseli, Navaisha, Nakuru and Masai Mara in 6 days. We also enjoyed our hot air balloon ride with Balloon Safari. MUST do. We had an amazing breakfast inside Masai Mara. We’re already thinking about going back and we’ll definitely reach out to Meektrails again! Thank guys for the wonderful memories!!

BEST Kenya Safari experience
I want to start by expressing my sincere gratitude to Meektrails for helping me plan and flawlessly execute my dream trip. From my very first interaction with them to the final moments of the journey, Meektrails handled everything with the utmost professionalism.
A special thank you to Valentine for being incredibly responsive during the initial planning stages via email—it made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Arriving in Kenya and finally meeting the team in person was such a special moment!
I’d also like to extend my appreciation to our amazing tour guide, Anthony. He ensured we stayed on schedule, kept us well-informed, and got us safely to every destination. His friendly nature and constant smile made the trip even more enjoyable.
Lastly, a heartfelt thank you to Michael for meeting us during the final leg of our journey. Having that personal interaction to reflect on our experience truly brought everything together.
For anyone considering a safari in Kenya, I highly recommend Meektrails. They go above and beyond to meet your needs, making sure you feel welcomed, safe, and fully immersed in the adventure.

An unforgettable Safari Adventure with Meektrails
We recently had an unforgettable adventure in Kenya with MeekTrails.
Our journey started in Nairobi, where Lucas, our amazing driver, picked us up from our hotel early in the morning. From the very beginning, Lucas was patient, cooperative, and genuinely caring.
Our first stop was Amboseli, where we spent two nights and saw a variety of animals in their natural habitat. Next, we moved on to Ol Pejeta for one night before heading to Samburu. Samburu was one of the highlights of our trip with its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife.
We then had a wonderful stop at Lake Naivasha where we enjoyed observing hippos and a variety of birdlife. The boat tour was a great way to explore the area, and we appreciated the tranquility of the surroundings. It was a nice contrast to the more adventurous activities.
Another one of the most unique experiences was in Hell’s Gate National Park, where we took a cycling tour. It was incredible to cycle among giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, etc… and the contrast between the hot thermal waters and the cool waterfall in the gorge was a fascinating experience.
We concluded our adventure with three nights in the Maasai Mara, a park known for having the highest density of lions in Africa. We were fortunate to witness numerous lions, leopards, and cheetahs up close, making it an extraordinary wildlife encounter.
A special shoutout to our driver, Lucas, who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. He communicated with other guides to find animal hotspots.
We stayed in mid-range lodges throughout our journey, and we were happy with the comfort and service throughout the trip.
The food was mostly served as a buffet and was of reasonable quality and variety, which met our expectations.
Above all, we always felt safe and comfortable, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable.
A few personal tips:
— Throughout your journey, you’ll be visiting numerous souvenir shops. If you’re looking to buy souvenirs to take home, the best deals are in the shops in Nairobi.
However, if you decide to buy souvenirs along the way, be aware that the prices in the villages are often marked up triple high. While it can be seen as a way to support local communities, be prepared to pay much more than in Nairobi.
_ If you opt for the cycling tour in Hell’s Gate, which I highly recommend, make sure to test the bikes before you ride. Choose one that feels comfortable, with a properly fixed saddle that won’t cause discomfort on the gravel roads. This can have a big impact on your overall experience.
_ Make sure to ask for a Land Cruiser for your long safari, especially in Maasai Mara. We didn’t have one and at times we wished we had it.
These vehicles are perfect for navigating bumpy roads and off-road terrain, offering a much faster and more comfortable ride. Having a reliable Land Cruiser will greatly enhance your overall experience.
_ The most popular time to visit Maasai Mara is during the Great Migration, which occurs from June to August. However, during the high season, park entry fees are doubled, accommodation prices increase, and you’ll encounter larger crowds, which can take away from the exclusivity and immersion in nature. (Imagine 30-40 cars lining up at any point with the engine sound and everyone competing for the best spot to see the animals) Unpleasant!
We visited during the start of the low season (Feb-Mar), and it was a great choice. We enjoyed lower park fees, better deals on accommodations, and fewer crowds, which made our experience a lot more peaceful and affordable.
The weather was perfect, and we still got to see the wildlife you’d typically see in the high season, though, of course, we missed the Great Migration which was a worthwhile trade off.
