Unforgettable Safari Experience in Tanzania – With the Best Guide: Michael!
Our week-long safari in Tanzania was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, our guide Michael was there to greet us at the airport, and he remained with us throughout the entire journey, ensuring that every aspect of our adventure was seamless.
We explored four breathtaking parks—the Southern and Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire—each offering stunning landscapes and incredible wildlife encounters. In addition to the safari, we had the unique opportunity to visit and meet three local tribes, which was an absolutely fascinating and worthwhile experience.
Every aspect of the trip exceeded our expectations. The lodges were excellent, offering comfort that perfectly complemented our adventure. But what truly made this trip unforgettable was Michael. He was the perfect guide for us - simply outstanding. Sharply intelligent, and deeply knowledgeable about Tanzanian wildlife, culture, and history, he enriched our experience in every possible way. He struck the perfect balance between being engaging and giving us space when we needed it.
What we appreciated most was that he was always honest and insightful—never giving us exaggerated or unfounded information, but instead offering genuine, well-informed insights into the wildlife and ecosystems we encountered. Beyond that, our conversations on Tanzanian culture, law, statehood, and religion added an unexpected but deeply rewarding dimension to the trip.
One of Michael’s greatest strengths was his ability to adapt quickly and problem-solve on the go. When we didn’t see as much wildlife as we’d hoped in the Central Serengeti, he swiftly arranged a change in schedule and permits, allowing us an extra day in the Southern Serengeti—which turned out to be absolutely magical!
Final Thoughts:
This was truly the trip of a lifetime, and we owe so much of it to Michael’s expertise, professionalism, and personality. If you’re planning a safari in Tanzania, we wholeheartedly recommend traveling with him. We would go anywhere with Michael as our guide, and we’re already dreaming of our next adventure!

When I will come back to tanzania it would be just with Nelson
When we come to tanzania we meat Nelson.
From the first second he do everything that we feel the best.
Nelson it wasn't just driver for us - he was like futher for us that make everything for us.
He feel us. He know when we don't like something so he do evrything to change it.
He read us and understand us and know what we feel and change everything like feel.
Even that we came with plain - he know to change the plain like feel at the same moment.
He know to bring us to all the best points ( we see in 3 days more than 100 lions !!!! Cople of cheetahs ,leopard ,swamp cat - that usually pepole don't see so much in 3 days).
He help us in everything - even he help us to nake photos , to help my child when he didn't feel goods.
Nelson For sure upgrade our trip.

Our family had the adventure of a lifetime with Friendship Safari Experience, and our guide and driver, Nelson, made it truly unforgettable! From the moment we met him, his warmth, expertise, and passion for Tanzania’s wildlife shone through.
Thanks to Nelson’s incredible spotting skills, we saw the Big Five, a cheetah cubs from a 2 fit away, and a breathtaking elephant encounter. His smooth driving and deep knowledge made every moment special. The lodges and camps were excellent, with great food and stunning views.

We really enjoyed our safari trip in Tanzania. The organization was excellent. We travel a lot abroad but this trip was special. All thanks to the guide/driver. A guy with a lot of knowledge knew how to locate all the animals. Excellent driving ability, very helpful. He took care of all our needs. Our guide was the one and only Nelson Isaac.
