Outstanding Safaris for Serious Wildlife Photographers!
5/5

~ I've been on two exceptional safaris with Bigmac Africa Safaris — one in February, 2014 and the other in October, 2014. In both cases the guide/driver, Mr. Anthony Gitau, exceeded all expectations, in terms of getting me near to rare bird, animal and plant species in order to take high quality photographs. As Anthony himself is a gifted photographer, he understands the special requirements of birders, big cat specialists and those who love wildflowers and foliage. In Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Lake Baringo, Lake Bogoria, Lake Navaisha, Samburu and Meru, Anthony was highly familiar with the terrain and with the habits of the species there. Bigmac Africa Safaris and Anthony arranged world-class safari programs which emphasized long game drives to observe and photograph rare species in optimal settings. In every respect, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Bigmac Africa Safaris to all who have dreamed of visiting East Africa with fine camera gear to take the photos of a lifetime. Anthony Gitau will make your dreams come true, as he's done for me. Contact him...you won't regret it!

Fantastic Safari
5/5

We (two friends) used World Tours and Safaris in November for a 6 days safari (Tarangire- Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro). Having consulted different websites and reviews, we decided to contact WTS. Richard came quickly back and gave the most economical package according to our demands, exactly as we wanted.
He always responded quickly to our messages and provided clear explanations.
Richard is a trustful man who keeps his word: we supposed to share the safari with two travellers. They did not arrive on time but this fact has not changed our safari program or the price previously agreed.
Our guide Aaron was gentle driver, he had good knowledge of animals and landscape and found always the best places to spot the animals. The food was abundant and delicious thanks to our cook Gady.
We had a fantastic safari and we keep excellent memories thanks to the good organisation and the commitment of the team. THANK YOU!

Big Five Up Close!
5/5

My friend and I from Canada went on a 5 day/4 night safari and it was more than I expected! We hit Tarangire, Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater. The driver from KIA was right on time both ways, very reliable. Our tour guide was amazing, he was able to get us in the best positions for viewing all the wildlife. We saw all of the big five and so much more, even caught some of the wildebeest migration. The food was great, something different and delicious each night. Fantastic tour! Highly recommend these guys. Nothing better than a giant elephant crashing your camp at night.

Very helpful, knowledgeable and great value - Uganda trip
5/5

Juma from Matoke was extremely patient and helpful providing an itinerary which met our requirements. Our driver/guide Dan was friendly and knowledgeable. Our vehicle was not top of the fleet but v sturdy and perfect for our requirements. Kibale forest camp and Entebbe airport guest house were both wonderful. Rihuja gorilla accommodation was disappointing by comparison although still clean and friendly - it just didn't have the wow factor that the others did. The gorilla tracking was amazing - I wish I could do it all over again. I have already recommended Matoke tours to two colleagues.

excellent, reliable, informative and professional safari group!
5/5

My father and I booked our safari through matoke tours in November/December 2014. We booked pretty last minute and changed our itinerary several times. Juma was able to accommodate our requests and changes every time and was very professional and super punctual about getting back to all my emails. Our safari in northern Tanzania was great. Our guide and driver, Gilbert was super friendly, professional. safe and could answer all of our (many) questions about everything! I would definitely recommend Matoke tours, and particularly Gilbert for any tours. We had no problems and had a wonderful safari! All the accommodation and staff at the hotels were really great as well. Thank you Matoke tours and Gilbert!

Unforgettable honeymoon experience in Tanzania with Jiwe adventures
Overall rating
5/5

We spent our honeymoon in Tanzania during and made an 8-day Safari with Jiwe adventures. It was an outstanding and very unique experience which we will never forget! Our trip went from Arusha to Tarangire National Park (2 nights), to Lake Manyara (1 night), to Central Serengeti (2 nights), to South Serengeti/Lake Ndutu (1 night), to Ngorongoro (1 night) and back to Arusha. If you want to make a shorter trip, we recommend to skip Lake Manyara, all other places should not be missed!
Each stop was very different from the other with new highlights every day. We had wonderful lodges and especially recommend Lemala (Tarangire), Ndutu (South Serengeti) and Kubu Kubu (Serengeti). All of them had great views into the endless African wilderness with Zebra & Co. visiting us at the balcony, luxury accommodation, fantastic food as well as very friendly staff. Our driver Chris was super! He drove us to breathtaking places, made us see the big five (finally the rhinos on our last day in Ngorongoro crater), served delicious lunch every day and did not get tired of answering our countless questions from African animal behavior to Tanzanian economy and Massai traditions :) Thanks again Chris, we hope to see you again one day!

Wellorganized, customer oriented to provide full satisfaction beyond expectations.
5/5

Though I gave Muema Africa Safaris my itenerary for vacation within a short period of less than 12 hours at the Great Rift Valley in Kenya, all was arranged on time from hotel bookings, excursions arrangements for specific tour destinations at reasonable rates, with tour guides ready to receive us , and constant email followups and updates from Muema Africa Safaris, thus, my family holiday for 3 days was full of wonders and surprises all well co-ordinated courtesy of Muema Africa Safaris. I am considering a christmas vacation again, with Muema Africa Safaris.

Fantastic Tour Company!
5/5

I had the most amazing time with East Africa Wild! The accomodations were outstanding for the Manyara Lake, Serengeti & Ngorongora Crater safari. I had forgotten my binoculars and was so thankful that they had a spare for me to borrow.

Special thanks goes to my guide, Letawo. You are so amazing! I really enjoyed the educational experience and your knowledge about the people, tradition and the culture as well as the wildlife. Thank you for being so fun and for sharing so many laughs with me. You are a true gem.

Another special thanks goes to Alym who put all of this together. It was such a pleasure to work with you. I truely enjoyed the extra touches you added to my extended stay on Zanzibar. The diving was spectacular and your went above and beyond when arranging the last minute Prisioner Island, Spice and Stone Town tours.

I will never forget all the wonderful people and amazing experiences I had. Thank you!

Everything that one hopes for and more
5/5

My gorilla trekking, organized by Steve and Steady Safaris, was every bit as spectacular and well organized as one could hope for. It was a breathtaking experience that I heartily recommend to anyone. But apart from the trek itself, I thoroughly enjoyed long hours spent chatting with Steve, knowledgeable, polite and curious guide, who I now consider to be a friend. If you are considering going to Bwindi - don't fly. Yes, it is an almost 12 hours drive, but it is an excellent opportunity to see much more of Uganda and to spend quality time with someone who knows the country and the region well.

The Tsavo experience indeed!!
Overall rating
5/5

This was a really thrilling trip for us. We had been to the Masai Mara before which was really exciting. We wanted a change, but was a little worried that Tsavo wouldn't live up to the Masai experience. How wrong we were! We had four of us in a jeep with a driver called Sam. He was a friendly chap and so knowledgable like most of these drivers are. They are in radio contact with other drivers as well, so even more eyes to help when an interesting sighting occurs. It was a real jeep safari just as you would expect. We drove alongside all of the usual animals and really felt part of them, we were that close. The weather was fabulous, very warm and clear blue sky with breathtaking scenery. Having said that, wet weather would not have put us off going. We have had some really exciting safaris charging through mud puddles in pursuit of rhino! Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer but we met wonderful people and we left with wonderful photographs, wonderful video and wonderful memories.
